FULL TITLE: 'Hit me!' The shocking moment an American Airlines flight attendant challenges a passenger to a FIGHT after 'hitting a crying mother in struggle over her baby's stroller' A shocking video has emerged showing an American Airlines employee challenging a passenger to a fight after allegedly hitting a woman with a stroller on a domestic flight. The upsetting footage, filmed shortly before Flight 591 departed from San Francisco on Friday afternoon, shows the airline employee goading a passenger and saying, 'hit me'. The clip was uploaded by passenger Surain Adyanthaya, who explained he started filming after the flight attendant...

A Moscow court has dismissed a lawsuit by Russian flight attendants who had sued Russia’s national airline, Aeroflot, for discrimination. The airline had imposed regulations governing stewardess’ weight, height and clothing sizes. Several Aeroflot flight attendants had stepped forward claiming that the company demoted them based on their body types and attractiveness.

The Air Force is surging forward with a massive, fleet-wide modernization overhaul of the battle-tested, Vietnam-era B-52 bomber, an iconic airborne workhorse for the U.S. military dating back to the 1960s. Engineers are now equipping all 76 of the Air Force B-52s with digital data-links, moving-map displays, next-generation avionics, new radios and an ability to both carry more weapons internally and integrate new, high-tech weapons as they emerge, service officials said.

The fallout for United Airlines from their attempt at “involuntary rescheduling and attitude adjustment” for a doctor on one of their flights continues in the public relations department and other airlines seem to be responding. In terms of the endless What Went Wrong discussion taking place on every cable news network, the biggest question which kept being asked was, why didn’t they offer the passengers more money to leave voluntarily? That turns out to be a somewhat complicated question (more on that below) but the folks at Delta were clearly watching. Less than a week after the incident they’ve...

Police: “You’re under arrest. Put your hands behind your back!” Suspect: “Don’t touch me! I didn’t do anything!” Police: “Oh, you didn’t? Sorry about that. My mistake. Off you go.” That was a hypothetical conversation that has never occurred. Do we really want to live in a society where individuals get to choose whether or not they feel like complying with the police at any given time? In the mid-1960’s, The Bobby Fuller Four fought the law, and the law won. Several years later, John Cougar Mellencamp reminded us that when he fights authority, authority always wins. And the same...

Full Title: U.S. Air Force Stages Epic Elephant Walk at Kadena Air Base Japan Amid Growing Tension With North Korea The images in this post show an impressive Elephant Walk carried out by fully armed U.S. Air Force aircraft belonging to the 18th Wing, at Kadena Air Base, Japan. During Elephant Walks military aircraft taxi in close formation right before a minimum interval takeoff. This kind of exercise is often performed at airbases all around the world (including South Korea), to prepare squadrons for wartime operations: what’s important is to test crews capability to quickly and safely prepare fully armed...
  • That United flight wasn’t even “overbooked” — and that matters legally

The fact that the flight was not overbooked may seem trivial, or pedantic, but there is very important legal distinction to be made. There may not be a difference in how an airline (typically) responds when it needs additional seats, such as asking for volunteers who wish to give up their seat for a voucher or cash. But there is a legal difference between bumping a passenger in the instance of overselling a flight versus bumping a passenger to give priority to another passenger. Any thoughtful person can see the problem that arises if an airline were allowed to...

RUSH: So United Airlines. The CEO has now come out and apologized again and said after he watched the video he was outraged, found it reprehensible, all of that. Mr. Snerdley just walked in, and he was upset over something Governor Christie said. Governor Christie’s the governor of New Jersey, and Governor Christie has lambasted United for doing what they did simply to make money. “Come on, Governor. That’s what the liberals always say when they go out and bash a corporation. That’s not the way to bash this.” Snerdley came in; he thinks Christie was being a hypocrite because...

Until this morning, I didn’t think anyone would displace the executive team at Pepsi as public relations chumps of the year after their hideous debacle of a commercial featuring Kendall Jenner. Then along came the geniuses at United Airlines, whose company motto, hilariously, is: “Fly the Friendly Skies”.

My husband is a Gold member on United and is totally disgusted by what they did to that poor man. I thought of a great marketing idea for other airlines. If they offered a comparable status on their airline to fly, my husband would jump at the chance to fly with them. Do you think the other airlines would think of this? I think so many people would switch over to their airline in a heartbeat. Or is this not an option for them?

“No, this is wrong,” a woman shouts at security officers in the video.”Oh my God, look at what you did to him!” A disturbing video was uploaded to Facebook by Audra Bridges Sunday night. It shows a full United flight sitting at a Chicago airport and bound for Louisville. But there was a problem – United had overbooked the flight, they needed four seats for their stand-by crew and no one was volunteering to give up their spot. That problem led to a violent confrontation as security forced one passenger off the plane, who said he was a doctor and...

A United Airlines flight from Chicago to Louisville was overbooked, so the airline sought 4 passengers to voluntarily give up their seats in exchange for cash and a free night in a hotel. When no one took the offer, the airline used a computer to choose “volunteers” at random. One man chosen refused, saying he was a doctor who had to see patients in the morning. That’s when police were called and the man was physically dragged down the aisle and off the plane. United Airlines said they needed the seats for airline employees who had to be in Louisville...

Neighbors in Hurst are now pushing back after a police drone hovered over a resident's backyard without warning. Bobbie Sanchez said the feeling of privacy disappeared when her child said "Mommy there's a drone over our roof." Sanchez said it was hovering long enough for her to take photos and then call for help. "They're watching my children play in the backyard," said Sanchez. "I called the Hurst Police Department and was pretty surprised to hear that it was them." Hurst police and fire started using drones earlier this year. They said the day they were over Sanchez's yard was...

Occasionally, when flying with kids who are melting down, a stranger shows a parent some much-needed mercy. We've all heard stories -- there was that one man who walked a toddler up and down the plane's aisle so the pregnant mom could get a little rest. Or the woman who let a baby sleep on her when the dad couldn't stop him from crawling all over her in her window seat. Most recently, a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines stepped up and helped a parent whose baby girl couldn't get calm. , a mother traveling with her two small daughters...

Airlines all have their own uniforms for flight attendants, but those uniforms were never a reason customers choose to fly a particular airline…until now. VietJet, a regional airline in Vietnam, has its young flight attendants dress in corporate colored bikinis, and that marketing gimmick has helped the company’s CEO, Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, become the country’s first self-made female billionaire. Bloomberg reports, “With the initial public offering of Vietnam’s only privately-owned airline, Thao is set to have a net worth exceeding $1 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, making her the country’s first woman billionaire.”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1Ia1fLc8hw

Report Says Instructor, Student Fought for Controls Before East Hartford Plane Crash A plane crash in East Hartford was the result of a flight student refusing to give up controls to his instructor, while apparently doing everything "backwards", a police report revealed. East Hartford police Lt. Josh Litwin said in October that investigators had concluded the crash was "an intentional act," but noted that they hadn't been able to determine a motive. New documents from witness accounts reveal that Arian Prevella, a flight instructor and the owner of American Flight Academy in Hartford, struggled with flying student, Feras Freitekh. On...
