Two white students at the University of Connecticut were arrested Monday after video that showed them shouting racial slurs prompted campus protests, university police told NBC News. Jarred Mitchell Karal, 21, and Ryan Gilman Mucaj, 21, face charges of ridicule on account of race, color, or creed. Police say a beer vendor used a personal card reader to charge a fan more than $700 for two beers at a Miami Dolphins football game. An arrest affidavit says 33-year-old Nathaniel Collier faces charges of grand theft and possession of a skimming device. RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. - A North Carolina woman is facing new drug charges after she was arrested on suspicion of bringing methamphetamine into court for a hearing on previous drug charges. Brooke Ann Kellems, 24, was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday in Randolph County on possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia charges, according to WGHP-TV. When Kellems went through a security check point at the courthouse, WGHP reported that officials spotted a round container in the metal bowl that holds personal items as a person walks through the metal detector. The U.S. Department of Justice announced Monday that two Somalis who had lived in the United States as refugees were arrested in Arizona last week before boarding a flight to Egypt where they allegedly planned to travel to join the ranks of ISIS. Court documents said that both Mohamed and Hussein entered the United States as refugees from Somalia. Mohamed had been granted lawful permanent residence status by the time he was arrested. Hussein still had refugee status.

Federal authorities have arrested a man in Georgia who is accused of plotting attacks on the White House and other landmarks and buildings in Washington, D.C., according to media reports. A Vatican-appointed Chinese bishop has reportedly been taken into custody by the government and is undergoing “isolation and indoctrination.” This is Peter Shao Zhumin’s fifth arrest in just two years as a bishop. TAMPA (FOX 13) - A passenger scheduled to board a JetBlue plane to San Juan, Puerto Rico Wednesday caused a scene and was arrested in the terminal, according to officials with Tampa International Airport. A witness took video of the outburst, including the moment the man took down his pants, and later had to be restrained by officers.
