SOLVING THE GREAT PUSH POLL MYSTERY Push polls are to civilized political campaigns what terrorism is to international diplomacy. I have talked to many people in the Republican party about this push poll against Len Munsil, and they are very angry. I got one of the push poll calls myself, and it was obviously designed to make Goldwater look good and start a rumor campaign to make Len Munsil look bad. It was not only an attack on the candidate, Len Munsil, but also on his wife and eldest child, and that is unacceptable to people with any sense of...

You guys should check this group out. I met one of their members out in Ohio working with a congressional candidate. They knew what they were doing and I was impressed but i didn't realize that Alex had his own team until yesterday. I looked at their website its got some really solid ideas in terms of strategy. LITTLE ROCK (AP) -- Asa Hutchinson and his supporters took a campaign mailing by Lt. Gov. Win Rockefeller as their cue to fire the first major salvos in the 2006 Republican gubernatorial primary campaign. A major Rockefeller campaign mailing repeatedly emphasized the billionaire lieutenant governor's anti-abortion bona fides, and Hutchinson, a former congressman and Homeland Security undersecretary, responded by saying Rockefeller was trying to shift away from his previous support for abortion rights

2004 US Senate Elections These are the states I am watching: Florida: I believe that Martinez will help Bush here. I think Cubans that are having doubts about Bush will support him when they vote for Martinez. I think most Hispanics would like to have Martinez representing them and that will push him past Castor. Castor comes off very old and too loyal to the “party.” And she is in real trouble when she has to explain about how she handled the “terrorist professor” when she was the president of USF. She has been around in politics for over ten...

I just got back last week from driving across the country, I live in Washington State and drove to PA in see my wifes family and took I-80 and I-90 back home. With my Bush/Cheney sticker from 2000 in my back window along with my W-04 sticker I got a aproviel rating of about 75% judging from the honks and thumbs ups from fellow drivers. Funny how I got the 1 finger salute from the folks with the Kerry stickers. My question to you is do you vent your hate and anger at fellow drivers on the road with a...

Last night, I was told that a report was recently published by some DC think-tank. This report ranked members of congress in order of taxpayer-friendliness, i.e. it examined their votes on tax-related bills and determined where any particular member of congress came in on higher or lower taxes for their constituents. The same person who told me about the report told me that a whopping 75% of house and senate members from my state were in the top 20 LEAST friendly to taxpayers in their voting records. Have any of you heard of this report? Can you point me to...

I've seen the senate races heating up, but not nearly as much on the house seats. I'm mostly using information from DC POLITICAL REPORT and POLITICS1. STATES Alabama DISTRICT 3 - The other Mike Rogers (R) won in 02 with 50.3% over Democrat Joe Turnham(48.2%) in an open seat. So far, it looks as he is facing Democrat Bill Fuller, Ex-State Human Resources Commissioner. I haven't heard much about this race, but the first defense is hardest. Journalists, political pundits and other Hysteric Left activists are desperately trying to spin some cosmic significance out of Sunday's Spanish elections. The "conventional wisdom" is that the Spanish Election results are some sort of significant defeat for President Bush and the War on Terror. As usual the "News Media's" thinking is neither conventional nor wise. What all the various activists miss is the reality of American Exceptionalism. As much as the International Political Left hates, and try's to deny, the reality is the USA operates on a completely different political level then the rest of the world. On Sunday, the...

The reason for my apology was that throughout this primary season we have been hearing about the record turnout of voters participating in Democrat caucuses and primaries. I bought the lie. The truth is that, except for Iowa and New Hampshire, there has not been any sort of record turnout for the Democrats. Even in New Hampshire the vote was far less than what the Republicans had when they last had a contested primary in 2000. The Democrats this year had 219,787 votes in their primary. The GOP in 2000 had 239,523 votes. That 20,000 difference is major in a...

http://newsmax.com/archives/ic/2004/3/6/121052.shtml Well isn't this intresting. The "objective news media" supposed 9-11 surviors protesting Bush's ads are actually anti-war stooges financed by John Kerry's wife. Please take a moment and vist the New York Times, Washington Post, MSNBC, CBS, NBC and ABC etc to email the Omsbudsman, the Publisher, the News Editor and demand to know why they allowed clearly partisan advocates of Kerry's Presidential Campaign were presented on their "News" programs with no reference to their ties to the Kerry camp. We absolutely must demand the "News Media" be held accountable for their free advertising for the Kerry camp.

http://www.georgewbush.com/tvads/ Here is a link to the 1st three Bush Re-election ads. As expected the DNC directed its "Objective News Media" mouthpieces at CNN, NBC, CBS and ABC to generate phoney hysteria about these ads. Compared to the demogagery and lies spread by the Kerry Campaign, Moveon.org and the DNC about Bush for the last 6 months, this is probably the mildest sets of ads that have run so far this political season. Please email this link to every person on you email contact list. We need to get as many people as possible to see these ads. They are...

State Sen. Jim Holt, R-Springdale, will run for the U.S. Senate, making the second challenge Sen. Blanche Lincoln has faced from a conservative Christian state senator from Northwest Arkansas. Holt said voters would support his candidacy because of "the continuing loss of our freedom, especially our religious freedom." Two recent examples, he said, are the removal of an inscription of the Ten Commandments from an Alabama court building and a federal court ruling that the phrase "under God" was not a constitutional part of the Pledge of Allegiance. "The executive and legislative branches of government are supposed to check and...

WASHINGTON -- Little Rock businessman Tom Formicola is exploring a bid to challenge Sen. Blanche Lincoln, D-Ark., in next year's election. Formicola, 44, a health care executive and former Maumelle alderman, said Thursday he has met with prominent Republicans in Washington to gauge his chances of ousting Lincoln. "I'm still testing the waters," Formicola said. "I'm in the process of drumming up support from state and national Republicans." Formicola said he has filed exploratory paperwork with the Secretary of the Senate and would announce his candidacy in early December, if he chooses to run. Formicola joins former Benton County sheriff...

Last cycle, much of the action in Senate races took place in the Midwest, with competitive races in Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota and Missouri ultimately deciding which party would control the chamber. This cycle, the South is the scene of many of the significant races, and that’s terrible news for the Democrats, who continue to lose ground in a region that once constituted their party’s bedrock. In addition to Georgia Sen. Zell Miller (D), who has already announced he won’t seek re-election, at least four other Southern Democrats may well retire: Sens. Fritz Hollings (S.C.), John Edwards (N.C.), Bob Graham...

Tuesday was a massacre for the democrats. They had no message and the polling was horrible. I have always been skeptical about polls and it appears that most of the pre-election polls were off. So why did the republicans do so well? George Bush deserves much of the credit, but let's not forget about the great candidates we had. 90% od our candidates were experienced and did well in their debates. The democrats did have a message. It was "no" to whatever being asked. The get nothing done senate was another reason. No bills and no judges were coming out...

By Audrey Hudson Arkansas Democrats are trying to steal the Senate election by registering dead people and businesses to vote, illegally allowing early voting on weekends and not requiring identification to vote, Republicans said yesterday. At least six dead people tried to register to vote, including one helped by a person also listed on campaign-spending reports as having received $100 by the state Democratic party, said Marty Ryall, Republican Party chairman. "I can understand why they needed assistance," Mr. Ryall said. People who aid others registering to vote are required to sign the paperwork as well. Another person, who helped...

We are a little over two weeks away from the election. So I ask you the same question I asked myself. Who is going to win the battle for the senate? I have done extensive research and watched the trends for a while now, just like many of you. I finished a week ago a statistical analysis of voting trends in Georgia. Let me also state that most elections are referendums on the incumbents. Candidates have to expose the incumbent. Dole failed to do this in 1996. So here are my predictions. GA- Max Cleland is in trouble. Do not...
