Wayne Allard's own polling shows his lead over Democrat Tom Strickland narrowing, but voters' negative opinions of Strickland nearly doubling. Allard leads Strickland 46 percent to 35 percent, according to a poll released Thursday by the Allard U.S. Senate campaign. In an April poll by the same Texas company, Allard led Strickland 49 to 33 percent. Both campaigns put their own spins on the results.
