Here is a link to information put out by Russian researchers. A few months back I had talked about submarine tankers here, here, here, here, here, here, and here.I also talked about LNG being shipped to the Baltics by submarine tankers. In the link you will find the submarine LNG route to the Baltics in a hatched line. Just recently, a company from Pontiac Michgan visited one of the threads on submarine tankers. I won't say who the company is but, I will say they are involved in carbon trading, oil and gas and naval marine technology... In the link...

Less than a week after Sarah Palin stepped down as governor, Alaskans are evenly divided about their feelings toward her, according to the results of a new statewide poll by the Anchorage-based Hays Research Group. Slightly more Alaskans – 48 percent – said they had negative feelings about Palin compared to 47 percent who had positive feelings and another five percent who had no opinion or didn’t know.

"Ethicsgate" by Naked Emperor News (news reporting site- locates video and sound evidence using Fair Use Doctrine) exposes the connection between the people who filed ethics complaints against Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Alaska Palin-hating bloggers (Shannyn Moore, Jeanne Devon, Linda Biegel-also filed multiple ethics complaints), the DNC (Patti Higgins), Obama administration (Alaska's Kim Elton, who brought Troopergate and was rewarded with a position in BHO's admin), AK Sen. Mark Begich, and Alaska radio personality 'CC' (Camille Conte). Video includes public news photos and video clips, sound bytes of radio show where supposed ethics filers who claimed they didn't know/work/ conspire...

Yesterday, July 27, 2009, was a day many of us have looked toward for a number of weeks; perhaps even months. Governor Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) awakened on her first morning as Citizen Sarah Palin, Constitutionalist, Federalist, Patriot and American Freedom Fighter from Alaska. This is indeed the day Conservatives in America got a new, dedicated and determined voice to speak up for us with no worries about who would attack her from which venue. The point is, it doesn’t really matter now. Sarah Palin can speak up for herself now. File a charge against Citizen Sarah Palin, and she can...

In this uncertain moment for the party of Lincoln, behold the jaunty, robust specimen of Republican centrism. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger of California strides into a conference room in his Sacramento office with a smile, having wrestled down his state’s mammoth budget deficit in a compromise with a Democratic-controlled Legislature. . . . . . Now, across the country, see the slight, dour spokesman for orthodox Republicanism. Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, leader of the shrunken Republican minority, will never be mistaken for a bodybuilder or a movie star. . . . . . Mr. Schwarzenegger does not rule out an...

Sarah Palin has signed a joint resolution which essentially declares to the Federal government that Alaska is a sovereign and independent state under the 10th Amendment. Just weeks before she plans to step down from her position as Alaska governor, Palin signed House Joint Resolution 27, sponsored by state Rep. Mike Kelly on July 10, according to a Tenth Amendment Center report. The resolution “claims sovereignty for the state under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the Constitution of the United States.” Alaska’s...

Supporters struggle to explain her departure, and some Alaska lawmakers say she has shown little interest in state business since returning from her failed vice presidential bid. Up here in Alaska, wildlife metaphors tend to be as abundant as their flesh-and-blood counterparts, and Gov. Sarah Palin has helped herself to them generously in explaining why she's stepping down Sunday, barely halfway through her term. She didn't want the state to be stuck with a "lame duck" chief executive, she said. She could hang around the statehouse and go with the flow, she allowed, but "only dead fish go with the...

I'm sure that the Democrats, Leftist Liberals, and Move On .Org'ers are all laughing , toasting and smiling with glee on the eve of Sara Palin's resignation address. I hope they enjoy themselves because it will be back to work on Monday. Then they will find themselves scurrying like mice to chase down every rumor, news leak, or wire report concerning her whereabouts, personal dealings and career moves. The only plausible explanation for this? They are afraid of her and the threat she poses to bringing down their newly acquired base of power. Romeny and Huckabee together don't receive in...

WASILLA, Alaska (AP) -- More than a thousand people showed up for Gov. Sarah Palin's annual picnic held in her hometown of Wasilla. Palin, who is resigning and leaves office on Sunday, used the occasion Friday to sign autographs and hand out hot dogs. The governor - dressed casually in blue jeans and a sweat shirt - was mobbed by well-wishers who offered up babies, books, calendars, skateboards and even their hands for autographs.

A look at Alaska's outgoing governor before she hit the national stage & when she was the darling of the Democrats whom brought down the standing Republican Governor. This week Juneau will lose its most famous part-time resident when Sarah Palin turns the power of governor over to Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell on Sunday, July 26 at a swearing-in ceremony in Fairbanks. It's been almost a year since Palin entered the national spotlight, which still shows no signs of dimming. Looking back through the CCW archives, 2007 seems like a very long time ago. So as we say good-bye to...

Parnell Seeks to End Leaks of Confidential Information Asks Attorney General to Step In (July 23, 2009, Anchorage, Alaska) - Lieutenant Governor Sean Parnell today asked Attorney General Dan Sullivan to provide recommendations on how to prevent leaks of confidential information in ethics probes. Parnell’s request comes after the leak of an investigator’s confidential and preliminary report related to an ethics complaint filed against Governor Sarah Palin. “These leaks must stop,” Parnell said. “If we allow public officials to be tried and convicted in the press through abuse of the legal process, then the Executive Branch is at risk. The...

The Associated Press story about the leaked report on the legal defense fund complaint is a clear example of media malpractice. Rachel D’Oro erroneously reported that Gov. Palin was found in violation of the Ethics Act. That is completely false. The leaked document was a preliminary report -- the first part of a long process. Gov. Palin’s own attorney stated: “The resolution of the Trust Fund is not final. I have been working with the investigator regarding supplemental information. The matter is still pending. Whatever you have seen was released in violation of law. There has been no Board finding...

Why, in the wake of her resignation as Governor of Alaska, do the mainstream media continue their efforts to destroy Sarah Palin? What right do the likes of Maureen Dowd and her ilk have to continue their mean-spirited attempts to besmirch and tarnish Palin’s success in politics by their scornful attacks on her and her family? She is beautiful and accomplished, has a hunk of a manly-man as a husband, and lovely children, but the media elites continue on a warpath of ridicule and derision. Her family’s success is denigrated; they are described as “blue-collar” or derided as Alaskan “hillbillies.”...

The Obama administration is raising the stakes in a fight over states' rights and firearm ownership by arguing that new pro-gun laws in Montana and Tennessee are invalid. In the last few months, a grass-roots, federalist revolt against Washington, D.C. has begun to spread through states that are home to politically active gun owners. Montana and Tennessee have enacted state laws saying that federal rules do not apply to firearms manufactured entirely within the state, and similar bills are pending in Texas, Alaska, Minnesota, and South Carolina. Yet the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, and Explosives now claims that...

Outgoing Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin may have violated state ethics laws by letting supporters set up a legal defense fund to help her battle ethics complaints, a preliminary report on the issue has found. Sarah Palin's attorney says the report is not final, and he is preparing more information for the investigator. An investigator hired by the state personnel board recommended Palin -- who gives up her office on Sunday -- refuse money from the defense fund and ask the state to pay legal fees for ethics complaints that have been dismissed. Palin attorney Thomas Van Flein said the report...

You've just gotta love Sarah Palin! Unless, perhaps, she's your state's governor, and her antics are distracting the state from its business. Or unless you're Mitt Romney, trying to make the next Republican presidential primary campaign a sober affair that you can control. Or unless you're Mike Huckabee, fearful of being outflanked on the anti-abortion right. Or unless you're an Arctic wolf, dodging large-caliber bullets fired from a helicopter. Other than those, I can't think of any good reason not to thank Providence for sending her to us. Named after a feisty Jewish lady – the very first Jewish lady,...

I am not Sarah Palin, but I feel her pain. Every time the liberal left wants to take a swipe at the Republican Party, Sarah Palin is brought up. True to form in the July 12 Gazette, Dan DiNicola wrote a hit piece labeling Republicans who have traditional religious values as zealots. How did he begin his incoherent ramblings? With Sarah Palin, of course. DiNicola joins a long line of men in the media who cannot seem to stop talking about Mrs. Palin. David Letterman has frequently made lewd and humorless remarks about the Alaskan governor, even to the point...

UNALAKLEET, Alaska -- Gov. Sarah Palin was welcomed Friday as an old friend as she traveled to this rural Alaska town to sign a bill that continues subsidies for rural energy costs. The trip to the village along the Bering Sea was also a farewell of sorts as she prepares to leave office July 26 following her surprise resignation announcement. Palin said the visits throughout the state were not a farewell tour but rather a way to thank Alaska residents for allowing her to serve as governor. "I am Alaskan. I've grown up here and I'm going to remain in...

Great IBD Editorial Regarding My "Cap and Tax" Article Yesterday at 7:20pm The political death of Sarah Palin has been greatly exaggerated. In a devastating op-ed in the Washington Post, Alaska's governor exposes the cap-and-tax fraud that has nothing to do with earth's temperature and everything to do with government control of the economy. She also exposes the stealth socialism ambitions of the Democratic left and once again points out the availability of abundant "shovel-ready" resources under America's soil, off America's shores and even in America's rocks. Judging from the reaction from Sen. Kerry and the political arm of George...

Another Ethics Complaint Rejected July 15, 2009, Anchorage, Alaska - The Alaska Personnel Board has rejected another ethics complaint lodged against Governor Sarah Palin. The complaint alleged that the governor misused state time by accepting media interviews. The complaint also alleged that Governor Palin was paid for television and radio interviews. Governor Palin has not been paid for media interviews. This complaint was filed by Raymond Alvin Ward on July 9. It was rejected in part because it was not properly notarized. In addition, Personnel Board Chairman Debra English said the board had already determined media interviews did not violate...

So far the news is only in German language. To sum it up... because German lefties and enviros succesfully protested a military testing area ("Bombodrom") a center-right German state prime minister (Wulff of Lower Saxonia) suggested testing bombardments and ordninance in Alaska. Key quote:"It doesn't have to be necessairly in Germany." This is insane. They can't test for their own military in their own country because of some enviromentalists? Were do they want to maneuver in Alaska? ANWR? Here an online Translation (probably with several mistranslations):

While all the "nattering nabobs of negativity" (to quote a former VP) were busy writing Sarah Palin's obituary while dancing on her grave, I predicted that she would come out and begin a conversation with the American people. Specifically, here is what I said in my essay What Palin Could, And Should, Do Here's my suggestion for the key topic she should be focused on: ENERGY. ... In Palin and the politics of abundance I said: Sarah Palin can become the spokesman for abundance while the left preaches the politics if scarcity. ... So imagine my surprise - NOT -...

This morning I had a sudden thought about Sarah Palin’s future and party politics in general... what if Sarah is going to go solo? I was thinking about Rush establishing his own “network” when setting up his show, and how surprisingly different that was in the late 1980s, and, similarly, how the producers of “Star Trek: The Next Generation” did the same thing setting up their own “network” to broadcast their own show. I don’t mean for those examples to seem trivial; if you’re in broadcasting, you recognize how those programs and others like them at the time changed the...

Fairbanks, AK - Governor Palin has signed House Bill 201 into law. The bill, sponsored by Representative Craig Johnson, changes the expiration date of a concealed handgun permit from five years from the date of issue to the person's birthday. “The right to own guns & use them responsibly is something I and many other Alaskans cherish,” Governor Palin said. “We have to be vigilant to protect the rights of individual Alaskans to own & use guns. I appreciate the work of our legislature in standing up for the Constitution.”

Ah... so little time left to abuse Governor Sarah Palin. After all, after she becomes "citizen" Sarah, the costs of attacks are no longer borne by the taxpayer, but by the complainant. So, predictably, the ethics complaints have stepped up a new notch! And the latest events are proof that these complaints are *not* about driving Palin from office, but to attempt to politically destroy Palin in the elected office battlefield. First of all... if you are not up to date on the Trials and Tribulations of Sarah, and the "Alinsky Perfected" section that is devoted to the ethics complaints...

hey Say/We Say The debate over Palin is sort of ossified. The Left continues to ridicule her accent, family, and middling roots. The Right enjoys such authenticity-but enjoys even more the hysteria it incurs in liberals. Will it Be Politics or Money? But lost in all of this is whether she is up to national politics, or simply wishes to capitalize (an Oprah-like talk show?) on her sizable financial potential. On the one hand, Palin is obviously bright. Few could raise a family without capital in Wasilla, and within a decade end up as Governor of a large state-whose protocols...

When Governor Palin went to Kosovo nearly two weeks ago, one key aspect not photographed or video recorded was her elevating the ranks of three soldiers. This video shows the promotion ceremony from a distance with voice-over and is the only multimedia available on this specific event. Promotion ceremony starts at 00:44 and ends in 0:52. Frame grabs were taken from the video, so that this action by Alaska's Commander-in-Chief is preserved. Should better video or photos become available, they will be posted here.

With all that’s been said about Governor Sarah Palin’s supposedly “shocking” announcement that she was resigning from office, you might think that everything that needs to be said about this has already been reported. However, as I proved in my documentary which “stars” Palin, when it comes to the most unfairly vilified personality of our time, it is more the rule than the exception that the true story about her gets totally lost in the media translation. Her resignation has been a classic example.----snip----First, let’s make it clear that, despite what MSNBC has implied on numerous occasions, I am NOT...

The midnight twilight turned out to be too much for a couple of out-of-state visitors who wanted to be rescued after spending a single night in the Bush this month, Alaska State Troopers said Wednesday. Troopers say they got a report of an emergency locator beacon registered to Washington, D.C., resident William Calomiris, 27, that was activated near Pungokepuk Lake, 20 miles northeast of Twin Hills, about 8:30 p.m. July 1. An air taxi service had dropped him and Adam Grunstra, also 27, of Bethesda, Md., off at the lake on June 30 for a seven-day stay, troopers said. Troopers...

Like ex-senators and former presidents, ex-governors retain their honorific titles, so Sarah Palin will still be addressed as "Governor Palin" after she officially turns the reigns of her office over to Sean Parnell July 26. The 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate has never been much of a stickler for that kind of thing, though, as she signs "Sarah" to her non-official correspondence. So what will she be doing after July 26? Only one specific event has been announced so far that will have Gov. Palin's participation. According to the Simi Valley Republican Women Federation (SVWF), Sarah Palin will be at...

I’m all for Governor Sarah Palin’s move over the weekend. It’s time for her to get out of Alaska’s small town, ankle-biting politics. Now she can take her show on the road. This is a woman brimming with charisma and raw political appeal. That’s why everyone’s afraid of her, and attacking her. In other words, Sarah Palin has the power to reinvigorate conservatism and republicanism. Here's my debate last night with nationally syndicated columnist Deroy Murdock.

By ROGER SIMON | 7/7/09 4:58 AM EDT Sarah Palin violated several commandments and is now getting roasted by political mandarins and media elites. Photo: AP Sarah Palin is a sinner. She has violated several commandments and thoroughly deserves the savage beating that she is now getting from political mandarins and media elites. If it were not for one simple fact, I would say she was through in politics. And that fact is that if the Republicans were picking a nominee today, they would pick Sarah Palin. No? Don’t believe me? Who would beat her? Tim Pawlenty? Bobby Jindal? Haley...

If Sarah Palin decides to go ahead with a defamation suit against blogger Shannyn Moore, who wrote that the Governor resigned because she was under criminal investigation, it may give others who have been defamed the courage to go after other bloggers who can be accused of "malice" in creating unfounded rumors about them on the Internet. Should Palin sue Moore, it could mean thousands of dollars of legal fees in order to defend herself. It might send a message to other bloggers who can be accused of using "malice" in defaming public figures. (See an explanation below.) Palin's attorney...

Local leaders are welcoming Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell as the state's new governor, saying he should be good for the capital city and the state. "Sean has been a friend of Juneau for some time," said Sen. Dennis Egan, who has known Parnell for many years. A former Republican legislator from Anchorage, Parnell was co-chairman of the powerful Senate Finance Committee for part of the time Egan served as Juneau's mayor in the 1990s. Parnell represented Anchorage but never joined in the anti-Juneau sentiments expressed by some others from Anchorage and the Mat-Su, Egan said. "He was never that way...

There are two aspects of Governor Palin's decision to resign now, which have not been competently discussed, or discussed at all, in the main stream media. One is based on the map, the other is based in American political history. Regarding the map: I have two, immediate sources to know how long it takes, with what sort of wearing down from the journey itself, to travel to and from Alaska. One is my cousin who is a leading labor lawyer, and who went from Atlanta to Alaska frequently when the Aleska Pipeline was under construction. The other is my son-in-law's...

Is she crazy? Or is she crazy like a fox? That’s the question being asked of former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin after her stunning announcement last Friday that she will resign as Alaska’s governor later this month. From the left and the right, the puzzlement is the same: Why has Palin decided to leave her office so abruptly? Republican strategist Ed Rollins, noting that “everyone is shocked” by Palin’s decision, asserts that “everyone is going to assume there’s another story. You don’t just quit with a year and a half to go.” National Democrats, meanwhile, are licking their chops at...
