Ordinarily, I would never recommend MSNBC viewing to anyone. After all, when I'm not hosting my radio show or writing for Townhall.com, I work at Fox News Channel as a contributor. But if you happened to be Tivo'ing MSNBC last night after Sarah Palin's home run speech, you MUST check out poor Keith Olbermann. After fawning and gushing and salivating over the Democrats during their convention in Denver, Keith looked and acted last night like he had swallowed a fish bone. I mean, this guy was mad. Pathetically trying to use words like "condescending" and "saracastic", he did his best...

WHERE IS SECURITY?!! I can't believe this so-called "journalist" creep can just waltz up to Senator McCain's mother and daughter!!
-
Get ready folks, in just a few hours we are about to watch heads exploding from the hate filled moonbat left. Leading that charge might just be Portland's own Jack Bogdanski. Remember he is the creepy guy who bought, hook line and sinker, the story about Governor Palin faking her pregnancy (Que Twilight Zone music now). I checked out some of Jack's comments from his hate filled anti-Palin thread and found a few of these morsels that were posted on Sunday, August 31st. Check them out and get yourself a little chuckle. Doris, don't worry. By this time Tuesday, she...

If Barack Obama was born on August 14, 1961 - then his mother was likely pregnant sometime in October of 1960. Since Obama's mother was born on November 29th, 1942 that would make her pregnant at 17. Last time I checked... Barack Obama had enormous respect for his maternal grandmother, even though this woman raised a child who got pregnant at age 17.

The Corporate Mainstream Media has just received word that they have ANOTHER gang-rape to attend. Just when they thought that they could take a break from their rampant bias, sexism and utter contempt for the concept of journalistic integrity, John McCain has given them another woman to deal with: Sarah Palin. Yesterday, the ‘New Democrats’ didn’t even know what to do with themselves. They were utterly stunned at the fact that they had just been outplayed and outmaneuvered by the Republicans (AGAIN!) by placing the only candidate with Executive experience on both tickets, and who “just happens” to be a...

Hi everyone. I used the search function, and couldn't find reference to an "official" FR Sarah Palin ping list. So, I thought I'd post something and ask everyone if they've seen one anywhere? If there isn't one that is already started, I would be happy to put one together. Seeing as we have only 10 weeks to go till the election, I thought it may be a good idea to put together a group here at FR that will get pings to articles and posts featuring; Releases from the Palin for Vice-President part of the McCain/Palin campaign, "MUST-READ" articles, videos,...

Ferraro Happy About Palin, Won't Reveal for Whom She's Voting (Jake Tapper, August 31, 2008, POLITICAL PUNCH) Former vice presidential nominee Geraldine Ferraro told National Public Radio's Jacki Lyden that she was happy to see Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin -- who mentioned Ferraro in her remarks Friday -- on the GOP ticket. "For 24 years I've been saying, 'It's great to be the first, but y'know, I don't want to be the only,'" Ferraro said. "And so now it is wonderful to see a woman on a national ticket." [...] As for whom Ferraro will vote, the former congresswoman from...

Beautifully done. If you are supporting this ticket, please get this out to everyone you know.

Leave it to the solipsistic, dead tree media to get it wrong once again. They are trying to come to terms with McCain's selection of Sarah Palin and what a masterstroke it was. They buy into the Obama "hope and change" B.S. then defend his choice of Joe Biden as V.P, yet when a true example of change smacks them upside the dome, they bash it. What the media can't understand is that Palin has reinvigorated a GOP that sorely needed it. During the primaries, there was excitement and drama as Obama caught and then overtook Hillary Clinton. It was...

Rasmussen’s daily tracking poll today shows the same four-point lead Barack Obama held yesterday over John McCain. This poll, the first to show reaction from Obama’s speech, indicates that Obama didn’t get any more bounce out of his Invesco Field appearance than he received from the Democratic convention as a whole: The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday is the first to include reaction to both Barack Obama’s acceptance speech and John McCain’s selection of Sarah Palin to be his running mate. The numbers are little changed since yesterday and show Barack Obama attracting 47% of the vote...

There’s been a lot of talk about Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin over the last several weeks as people are weighing in on who they think McCain should pick as his VP running mate. While I think she is short on experience at this stage in her political career, I believe she has a bright future in politics, and perhaps we may one day see her on the national stage. Last July, while the primary campaign season was just warming up and way before any talk of VP selections, the Weekly Standard’s Fred Barnes wrote a good piece on who Palin...

TOP 10 REASONS McCAIN’S VP SHOULD BE ALASKA GOVERNOR SARAH PALIN Laurie Morrow • August 28, 2008 0:57am • Uncategorized Edit This REASON #10: PALIN’S YOUTH COMPLEMENTS McCAIN’S EXPERIENCE For months, Obama’s supporters have touted the Senator’s youthfulness as one of his qualifications for office (a strategy they’re apt to scale back on, given their selection of a Vice President nearly as old as McCain). If youth is seen as a plus by voters, then Alaska Governor Sarah Palin fits the bill. At 44, she is 3 years younger than Barack Obama, and the youngest person ever to be elected...

Video of McCain, then Palin. John McCain says he opposes drilling in ANWAR, but supports states' right to drill where they want. He is going to have to contend with future Republican heavyweight, Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska. She want to drill in her state. What say you Johnny Mac?

Alaska state Representative Mike Kelly of Fairbanks is suggesting in a letter to the editor of the Fairbanks News Miner that Don Young and Ted Stevens retire for the good of the Republican party since they have undermined the public's trust. Young and Stevens are both under under multiple criminal investigations for corruption. Kelly also suggests state Senator John Cowdery, chairman of the Senate Rules Committee, and Alaska Republican Party Chairman Randy Ruedrich resign for repeated ethical lapses by both. Kelly wrote - The Alaska Republican Party, legitimate home of the conservative agenda built upon individual responsibility, limited government, development...

U.S. Rep. Don Young already faces significant opposition in the general election next year. Now he’s facing opposition in the Republican primary. State Rep. Gabrielle LeDoux, R-Kodiak, announced Wednesday she will seek Young’s seat in Congress. In an interview with the Kodiak Daily Mirror today, LeDoux said she officially filed papers to run for Young’s seat. LeDoux, an attorney and former Kodiak Island Borough mayor, is attending a board meeting today in Anchorage for the Alaska Aerospace Development Corp., which oversees operation of the Kodiak Launch Complex.

On Friday Alaska's Gov. Sarah Palin ordered the state to prepare a "fiscally responsible" alternative to the infamous "Bridge to Nowhere," which made the state a national laughingstock and shone an unwelcome spotlight on the pork-barrel greed of its all-Republican congressional delegation. The $398 million bridge would have connected Ketchikan (population 7,400) to its airport on a nearby island inhabited by 50 people. The same day, the Associated Press reported that the FBI has recorded two phone calls between Sen. Ted Stevens, who sponsored the bridge, and Bill Allen, a Stevens patron who dominated state politics as the head of...

Former Republican gubernatorial candidate John Binkley agrees with Palin that the public is upset. "They don't like the back room deals that have been cut. I think there have been errors in judgment in people as they've dealt with people like Bill Allen, and what that's caused for our state, for our delegation. And they want a change. They don't want to see that business as usual," Binkley said. Like Binkley, former Lt. Gov. Loren Leman says he's not planning to run against Young or Stevens, but also says that's subject to change. "And if nothing changes that would suggest,...

Congressman Don Young is going to reimburse a seafood trade association the full amount for seafood after all. Young has agreed to reimburse the Pacific Seafood Processors Association $5,583 for the cost of providing food at his annual "Crab Feed" fundraiser for the past seven years. Young's campaign treasurer says the association sent an e-mail that said it had made in-kind contributions that needed to be disclosed. Robert Bohnert, Young's campaign treasurer, says the campaign was not aware of the contributions until it received the e-mail. Originally, the campaign was going to reimburse the trade association only part of the...

Coming off the heels of her pronounced victory in the Republican primary against incumbent Frank Murkowski, Sarah Palin (R) is readily handling her next round of competition—former Governor Tony Knowles (D)—in her bid to become Alaska’s next governor. The latest Rasmussen Reports election survey shows Palin leading Knowles 52% to 38%.
-
After a 22-year Senate career spent in the long shadow of senior Alaska Republican colleague Ted Stevens, Republican Frank H. Murkowski stepped onto center stage November 2002 as he was elected governor of his home state.
-
Democratic Senator Joseph Lieberman is not the only statewide incumbent who could lose his primary. Alaska's Republican Governor Frank Murkowski is also swept up in a blizzard of low poll numbers—to the extent that he has published full-page ads to admit that maybe he should "consider a personality transplant." In the August 22 Republican primary Murkowski faces competition from businessman John Binkley and former Wasilla Mayor Sarah Palin. The Rasmussen Reports election poll shows Palin with 43%, Binkley with 30%, and Murkowski with 17% when likely voters consider a three-way match-up. Murkowski does badly with every group identified in the...

John Binkley was somewhere nearby -- he could probably smell the same cotton candy -- as Sarah Palin stood in front of her table of campaign buttons and bumper stickers during Wednesday's solstice bash.

Every day, we'll highlight one poll number that we think teaches us something new about the political landscape. Today's big number is 73. That's the percentage of Alaskans who view Gov. Frank Murkowski (R) unfavorably, according to an Ivan Moore Research survey. And, if you'll pardon the pun, when it comes to bad news, that's just the tip of the iceberg. While 20% of AKans view Murkowski favorably, he can't catch a break in his own party: He's currently running third in the GOP primary, trailing '02 LG candidate/ex-Wasilla Mayor Sarah Palin (R) and ex-State Sen. John Binkley (R), with...

2004 US Senate Elections These are the states I am watching: Florida: I believe that Martinez will help Bush here. I think Cubans that are having doubts about Bush will support him when they vote for Martinez. I think most Hispanics would like to have Martinez representing them and that will push him past Castor. Castor comes off very old and too loyal to the “party.” And she is in real trouble when she has to explain about how she handled the “terrorist professor” when she was the president of USF. She has been around in politics for over ten...

I just got back last week from driving across the country, I live in Washington State and drove to PA in see my wifes family and took I-80 and I-90 back home. Last night, I was told that a report was recently published by some DC think-tank. This report ranked members of congress in order of taxpayer-friendliness, i.e. it examined their votes on tax-related bills and determined where any particular member of congress came in on higher or lower taxes for their constituents. The same person who told me about the report told me that a whopping 75% of house and senate members from my state were in the top 20 LEAST friendly to taxpayers in their voting records. Have any of you heard of this report? Can you point me to...

I've seen the senate races heating up, but not nearly as much on the house seats. I'm mostly using information from DC POLITICAL REPORT and POLITICS1. So far, it looks as he is facing Democrat Bill Fuller, Ex-State Human Resources Commissioner. I haven't heard much about this race, but the first defense is hardest. Senate Races to Watch 2004 South Dakota- I expect this one to be a barnburner. Thune is back and now there is a third party candidate (Tim Giago) that leans towards Daschle’s ideology. The Indian reservations in SD have been a haven for democratic votes and Tim Johnson owes his re-election to them. But now that an Indian candidate has applied to run, the Democrats are in trouble here. I expect Bush to visit often and the Republicans to put great effort into this race. The only thing that bothers me is the Janklow factor. He has done some damage...

Journalists, political pundits and other Hysteric Left activists are desperately trying to spin some cosmic significance out of Sunday's Spanish elections. The "conventional wisdom" is that the Spanish Election results are some sort of significant defeat for President Bush and the War on Terror. As usual the "News Media's" thinking is neither conventional nor wise. What all the various activists miss is the reality of American Exceptionalism. As much as the International Political Left hates, and try's to deny, the reality is the USA operates on a completely different political level then the rest of the world. On Sunday, the...

The reason for my apology was that throughout this primary season we have been hearing about the record turnout of voters participating in Democrat caucuses and primaries. I bought the lie. The truth is that, except for Iowa and New Hampshire, there has not been any sort of record turnout for the Democrats. Even in New Hampshire the vote was far less than what the Republicans had when they last had a contested primary in 2000. The Democrats this year had 219,787 votes in their primary. The GOP in 2000 had 239,523 votes. That 20,000 difference is major in a...

http://newsmax.com/archives/ic/2004/3/6/121052.shtml Well isn't this intresting. The "objective news media" supposed 9-11 surviors protesting Bush's ads are actually anti-war stooges financed by John Kerry's wife. Please take a moment and vist the New York Times, Washington Post, MSNBC, CBS, NBC and ABC etc to email the Omsbudsman, the Publisher, the News Editor and demand to know why they allowed clearly partisan advocates of Kerry's Presidential Campaign were presented on their "News" programs with no reference to their ties to the Kerry camp. We absolutely must demand the "News Media" be held accountable for their free advertising for the Kerry camp.

http://www.georgewbush.com/tvads/ Here is a link to the 1st three Bush Re-election ads. As expected the DNC directed its "Objective News Media" mouthpieces at CNN, NBC, CBS and ABC to generate phoney hysteria about these ads. Compared to the demogagery and lies spread by the Kerry Campaign, Moveon.org and the DNC about Bush for the last 6 months, this is probably the mildest sets of ads that have run so far this political season. Please email this link to every person on you email contact list. We need to get as many people as possible to see these ads. They are...

A 46-year-old commercial pilot and retired U.S. Air Force reservist said this week he plans to run for the U.S. Senate in next year's election as an independent. Marc Millican, of Anchorage, has never run for political office, and will have to collect 2,329 signatures by the date of the primary election in 2004 to make it onto the general election ballot, according to the state Division of Elections. In the first three months of the year, U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski raised $155,000 for her bid to win a full term in office, according to a filing released by the Secretary of the Senate this week. Much of the money came from executives in the Seattle-based commercial fishing industry. Various lobbyists and individuals with Alaska interests also contributed. About $43,000 came from political action committees in the energy, chemical, transportation, mining, construction and finance industries, according to the filing released Tuesday. Sen. Ted Stevens' political action committee, the Northern Lights PAC, gave Murkowski's committee $10,000, the maximum allowed by...

Bush campaigns for Senator Stevens Source:Associated Press By: Scott Lindlaw 5/10/02 This article has been excerpted WASHINGTON -- President Bush campaigned Thursday for GOP Sen. Ted Stevens of Alaska, a leading lawmaker in determining federal spending. Senator Stevens is the top Republican on the Senate Appropriations Committee and its defense subcommittee. He will be in the middle of this year’s fight between Bush and Congress over spending. Bush hopes Stevens will help the White House restrain spending at a time when the government has returned to deficits. At the event, Bush specifically mentioned his missile defense shield, which Stevens support...
