Video of pro-Democracy demonstrators chanting down the speaker. The pro-Ahmadinejad speaker is encouraging them to chant 'Down with the United States' and 'Down with Israel', but they defiantly chant 'Down with Russia' in reference to Russia's alliance with Ahmadinejad and Khamenei. In stark contrast to the anti-Americanism of the establishment the Iranian populace (70% under 30) are pro-American. Video here: Quds Day Rally in Iran

Here is video of Karl Rove on Bill O'Reilly tonight where they discussed the news today that Iran has a second uranium enrichment facility that the United States and allies called them out on today. Rove said that Iran's Ahmadinejad is a "nut," a very dangerous man. Rove said the U.S. should join other major allied powers and impose sanctions on Iran, bypassing the United Nations. He also said that if we seek to blockade Iran, they will likely treat it as an "act of national war." . . . (VIDEO)

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has ordered the replacement of the US dollar by the euro in calculating the value of the country's Oil Stabilisation Fund (OSF). The edict, issued on Sept 12, follows a recommendation by the trustees of the country's foreign reserves, Iran's English-language daily The Tehran Times said on Monday, citing Iran's semi-official Mehr News Agency. The move was taken because the government wishes to protect itself from the fragility of the US economy and the weak dollar.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahamdinejad responded this afternoon to demands by President Obama, French President Sarkozy, and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown that Iran submit to inspections at a newly discovered uranium enrichment facility. Ahmadinejad said at a press conference that it is not any of their business what Iran is doing with their facilities. He also said the "time for Empires is over," and that a select group has no right to tell other nations what they have to do.NOTE: It is clear Iran is seeking nuclear weapons. Ahmadinejad is not going to respond to diplomacy, except to grow bolder....

A week ahead of crunch talks on Iran's nuclear program, the leaders of the U.S., France and the U.K. on Friday accused Tehran of building a covert uranium enrichment facility, a development they said directly challenges the world's non-proliferation rules. Later in the day, Iran publicly confirmed and strongly defended the nuclear fuel facility. Speaking at an overflowing news conference in New York Friday afternoon, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said his country has complied with rules of the U.N. nuclear agency that requires Tehran inform it of any new enrichment facility six months before any such facility becomes operational, the...

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said President Obama, along with the leaders of Britain and France, will "regret" accusing Iran of hiding a nuclear facility. "It's not a secret site," Ahmadinejad said Friday at a news conference in New York. "If it was, why would we have informed the IAEA about it a year ahead of time. "They will regret this announcement." Ahmadinejad said the new facility won't be operational for 18 months so Iran has not violated any requirements of the International Atomic Energy Agency. Earlier Friday Obama demanded that Iran immediately allow international weapons monitors to inspect a nuclear...

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 25 -- President Obama and the leaders of France and Britain on Friday blasted Iran's construction of a previously unknown uranium enrichment facility and demanded that Tehran immediately fulfill its obligations under international law or risk the imposition of harsh new sanctions. "Iran is breaking rules that all nations must follow," Obama said, detailing how the facility at Qom had been under construction for years without being disclosed, as required, to the International Atomic Energy Association. "International law is not an empty promise." British Prime Minister Gordon Brown accused Iran of "serial deception" that he said "will shock...

WWII left over 50,000,000 dead, between civilians and combatants throughout its European theater. All because of the folly of a crazed, obsessed, German dictator – Adolf Hitler. He outlined his political ideology, his set of twisted beliefs in his Mein Kampf – My Battle. Its first volume was published in 1925, the second in 1926. The world did not believe him and ignored his book, instead history clearly showed us how little we can afford to disbelieve, to ignore, the abhorrent rantings of a powerful, charismatic madman. Thus having learned how dangerous murderous tyrants can be, reeling from the unprecedented...

PARIS (AFP) - Iran's exiled opposition movement said Thursday it had learned of two previously unknown sites in and near Tehran that are being used to build nuclear warheads. "Resistance sources have managed to uncover two centres that work directly on nuclear armaments and which were until now kept secret," Mehdi Abrihamtchi of the People's Mujahedeen told reporters in Paris, where his group is based. "They are places for research and production of detonation systems which is a major part of the mullah's atomic bomb project," he said, adding that his organisation had passed on the information to the UN...

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a blistering attack on the floor of the United Nations Thursday on Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, saying the hearing granted the Iranian president the night before amounted to a "disgrace of the U.N. charter." Mr. Netanyahu dramatically held up copies of minutes of the meeting of Nazi officials in 1942 where plans were made for the extermination of the Jews, as well as constructions plans of Nazi concentration camps.

Pop quiz: Who is the President of Indonesia? If you knew the answer was Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, award yourself a gold sticker in the shape of the Wikipedia logo. But if you’re among the 99% of readers who didn’t, don’t worry: You’re in good company. Virtually no one could pick the leader of the world’s most populous Muslim state out of a lineup for one simple reason: because Indonesia is a stable democracy, with a responsible government that quietly focuses its attention on domestic issues, and which fights terrorism, rather than sponsoring it. If Mr. Yudhoyono instead followed the example...

I hate having to write this. Israel, you have a decision that has to be made rather quickly, do you want to eliminate the terrorist nuclear threat in Iran, or do you want to become a land of burnt rubbish? That is your choice, and that decision needs to be made now. Iran is moving full speed ahead with their nuclear ambitions, the United States is becoming even more weak assed each and everyday under the Obama administration, you have cleared a path to Iran to bomb them, even receiving an O.K. from Saudi Arabia to fly through their airspace,...

Ali Jahanshahi, a young, tech-savvy British-Iranian, quit his job selling computers to come to New York with the ambitious goal of ousting Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. More than just protesting Ahmadinejad's presence at the U.N. General Assembly this week, Jahanshahi said he came to trade know-how with other young Iranians who are using Internet "hacktivism" to send messages, videos and information to opposition sympathizers in Iran. "Iran's government tries to keep protesters from organizing online but we use tools to stay ahead of them," Jahanshahi, 20, said at a protest outside the United Nations. "We post videos, tweet messages and...

Thousands of Iranian-Americans gathered outside the United Nations on Wednesday to voice their opposition to the Iranian government, in the largest such protest here in 30 years. The protesters' affiliations varied from royalist to communist, but they shared one thing: They don't consider Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, declared the winner of disputed presidential elections in June, to be Iran's legitimate leader. "Freedom for Iran, justice for Iran," and "Free political prisoners," shouted the protesters convened here for Mr. Ahmadinejad's appearance at the United Nations General Assembly. The crowd included prominent artists, scholars, human-rights activists and former Iranian lawmakers who have joined the...

Czechs are used to betrayal by their Western allies. It was at Munich in 1938 that British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain sealed their doom in exchange for a piece of paper promising "peace in our time." The fact that this further gutting of missile defense came on the 70th anniversary of the Soviet invasion of Poland on Sept. 17, 1939, is an eerie coincidence. "Just after midnight I was informed in a telephone call by President Barack Obama that (his) administration had decided to pull out from the planned missile defense shield installations" in the Czech Republic and Poland, the...

Long after the 98-minute fever dream of Libya's Moammar Khadafy, with his warning of flu viruses cooked up in Western labs, came the main event of the UN General Assembly: the deadly serious diatribe of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran. Today at the United Nations we heard from a host of world leaders most of them bashed the United States, including the President of the United States. From Barack Obama we learned how evil the US has been and how evil is Israel still. From Qaddafi we learned how baffling a speech by a true crazy man can be, Barack Obama is his son, and the Israelis killed Jack Ruby who killed Lee Harvey Oswald who killed JFK because he was asking too many questions about Israeli Nuclear Bombs. The Iranian despot Ahmadinejad taught us about the coming of the...

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad sent his foreign minister ahead of him to New York on Monday to test the level of protest he would face when coming to this year’s United Nations General Assembly meeting, Newsmax has learned from sources close to the Iranian president. The Iranian president, whose June 12 re-election was disputed by millions of Iranians around the world and led to massive street demonstrations the regime violently repressed, was worried that he might get shut out of his midtown Manhattan hotel. Protests by United Against a Nuclear Iran, a U.S.-based nonprofit coalition headed by former U.S. Ambassador...

The eleven, according to a European source: Argentina, Australia, Britain, Costa Rica, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, New Zealand … and the United States. I assume our guys wouldn’t have bolted without the White House’s approval, so kudos to The One for showing a bit of principle. Every year this degenerate does his same Jew-baiting shtick — “It is no longer acceptable that a small minority would dominate the politics, economy and culture of major parts of the world by its complicated networks” — and every year our moronic media lines up to interview him. And every year, it’s the...

Here is video of Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's speech to the United Nations. He used his speech to attack the United States and the Jewish people: Mr. Ahmadinejad repeated accusations that Israel was responsible for "inhuman policies" against the Palestinians. "It is no longer acceptable that a small minority would dominate the politics, economy and culture of major parts of the world by its complicated networks, and establish a new form of slavery, and harm the reputation of other nations, even European nations and the U.S., to attain...

UNITED NATIONS (AFP) – France on Wednesday led a walkout of a dozen delegations, including the United States, to protest a fiery speech by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to the UN General Assembly. Delegations from Argentina, Australia, Britain, Costa Rica, Denmark, France Germany, Hungary, Italy, New Zealand and the United States left the room as Ahmadinejad began to rail against Israel, a European source said. In an exclusive wide-ranging hour-and-a-half interview with NEWSWEEK's Lally Weymouth and editors from The Washington Post, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad discussed his upcoming talks with the United States, his opinion of President Obama, and his continued denial of the Holocaust, as well as the U.S.-led effort in Afghanistan, which he views as doomed. In it he previewed his offer to purchase enriched uranium from the United States for medicinal purposes, which proliferation experts say is likely a nonstarter.

UNITED NATIONS -- Canada will boycott Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's speech at the United Nations on Wednesday, saying his outbursts about the Holocaust and Israel are "shameful." Foreign Minister Lawrence Cannon will be at the world body to attend the opening of the UN General Assembly's annual debate, but officials signal he and other members of the Canadian delegation will vacate the Canadian seats when the Islamic republic's President approaches the podium. Walking out of the chamber is seen as a strong diplomatic show of disgust at the UN -- and since the chamber is generally packed on the first...

Little is said about President Ahmadinejad's background even his official biography lacks a lot of information. But by understanding who Ahmadinejad is, and where he comes from proves how dangerous this man really is. In the book, "The Bomb and the Koran," French journalist Michel Taubmann gives us some insight into the Iranian despots Ahmadinejad biography. Ahmadinejad and the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei practice the Hojjatieh's interpretation of Shiism. This type of Islam has a very messianic and apocalyptic view of the world. It predicts a period of universal chaos before the return of the Mahdi (the 12th imam,...

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has labeled the Iran regime as “weaker than people think” and that is susceptible to international pressure. Speaking with Wolf Blitzer of CNN, the Prime Minister said, “The Iranian people detest this regime, as has been plainly evident in the recent election fraud. But, equally, I think that Iran is susceptible because its economy is susceptible. And the time for pressure is now, with or without talks.”

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said he would seek “maximum lenience” for three American hikers who have been held since crossing the country’s border nearly two months ago. In an interview with The Associated Press in advance of U.N. General Assembly meetings, the Iranian leader said the hikers broke the law and did not elaborate on what lenience would mean. But his message was more conciliatory that usual, coming just days after Ahmadinejad said he was proud to be a Holocaust-denier. He explicitly said that his country was not building nuclear weapons and was not a threat to America. "I heard...

President Shimon Peres told schoolchildren in the north that "the prime minister will be demonstratively absent from a meeting with one of the most evil and horrible people of modern history, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who lies through his teeth about the existence of the Holocaust and curses Israel". During his visit to the agricultural school 'Kaduri', Peres also spoke about the trilateral summit called by US President Barack Obama, who...

An Iranian plane crashed during a military show in Tehran while Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was delivering another threatening speech aimed at Israel and the United States. The government admitted that the plane crashed at a nearby village while performing maneuvers but did not release any details on casualties, if any, and what type of plane was involved. It was Iran's third plane crash in the past three months, and other mishaps, some of them involving the country's nuclear program, have raised suspicions that foreign intelligence agents were responsible.

TEHRAN (Reuters) - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told a military parade in Tehran on Tuesday Iran would "cut off the hands" of anyone who attacked the country. "Iranian armed forces will cut off the hands of any attackers before they pull the trigger," he said in an address at a parade broadcast on state television to mark the start of the Iran-Iraq war in September 1980. "No power in the world is daring enough to attack Iran as we are more experienced and powerful than ever," Ahmadinejad said.

President Obama will get his much-sought photo opportunity with two Middle Eastern leaders when he makes his UN debut this week — but he will spend the rest of the time avoiding two others. The White House has announced that Mr Obama will host a meeting of Binyamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister, and Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the Palestinian Authority, tomorrow as he makes his first appearance at the annual UN General Assembly session. Mr Obama is performing a carefully choreographed diplomatic dance. American diplomats have been busy behind the scenes trying to ensure that his star turn...

It is not true that the Islamic Republic of Iran lacks compassion. It is not true that the Islamic Republic hangs people without a hint of mercy. Here is the proof. Recently, I met Mrs. M at a gathering of Iranian ex-pats in a park. I would also like you to meet this elderly widow who is suffering from a variety of brain, neurological, and vision disorders. The conflict with Iran is entering a new, more dangerous phase. Video of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad holding a meeting with high-level officials on June 13 in Qom has leaked out, giving us insight into how he sees the near future. “A new revolution has begun,” he says, as the Islamic Revolution finds its “true destiny” and enters a more difficult period. He speaks with genuine optimism and enthusiasm, and says it will not be limited to Iran. The tape clearly shows that Ahmadinejad believes that something has just changed that makes this moment in history special and directly related to Iran’s...

The Pentagon is trying to speed up the deployment of an ultra-large bunker-busting bomb, which would constitute the largest non-nuclear bomb the U.S. has ever used. The Massive Ordnance Penetrator, or MOP, is a 30,000-pound bomb that would dive deeper than any previous bomb, and could be strapped to B-2 or B-52 bombers by July of 2010. The MOP is 20 feet long and can penetrate bunkers up to 200 feet before exploding. At 15 tons, the MOP is a third heavier than the previous "mother of all bombs", the GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast bomb, which was only 10.5...

TEHRAN (Reuters) – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called the Holocaust a lie Friday, raising the stakes against Israel just as world powers try to decide how to deal with the nuclear ambitions of an Iran in political turmoil. It is a lie based on an unprovable and mythical claim," he told worshippers at Tehran University at the end of an annual anti-Israel "Qods (Jerusalem) Day" rally. When President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad decided to go on his annual visit to New York this month, it probably seemed like a good idea at the time. The Iranian leader, re-elected in June amid widespread allegations of vote rigging, desperately needed to restore credibility at home and abroad. With the results of the contested election confirmed by the authorities and his government sworn in last month, he may have concluded that opposition to his rule was weakening, not least because scores of his opponents had been arrested or intimidated. He probably calculated that turning up for the UN General Assembly, alongside...

TEHRAN — Iranian opposition supporters fought running battles with riot police and hardliners on Friday as tens of thousands mounted the first protest in two months against the re-election of hardline President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Protesters defied dire warnings from top officials against demonstrating during the annual mass display of solidarity with the Palestinians that is one of the setpieces of the Islamic regime. As Ahmadinejad himself gave the keynote speech at Tehran University renewing comments about Israel and the "myth" of the Holocaust that have sparked an international outcry, tens of thousands chanted "Death to the dictator" in nearby streets,...

HAS Iranian President Mah moud Ahmadinejad won his first diplomatic victory since his disputed re-election in June? Last Thursday, Tehran presented what it calls "an updated package" as the basis for fresh talks with the G+1 (the UN Security Council's five permanent members, plus Germany). On Friday, State Department spokesman P.J. WASHINGTON -- New York County District Attorney Robert Morgenthau left his home turf and came to the nation's capital on Tuesday to sound the alarm about a "blossoming relationship" between Iran and Venezuela. Comparing the situation to the lead up to the 1962 Cuban missile crisis, Morgenthau warned of growing threats--involving missiles, nuclear ventures and terrorist training--that Iran and Venezuela are now cultivating, together, "in our backyard." "Axis of unity" is the label that Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez have themselves chosen for their alliance. The rise of this partnership, according to Morgenthau, dates from Ahmadinejad's...

Circumstances are changing rapidly in our favor,we are on the road to victory." At the very least he is on the road to making President Obama look foolish again. Obama made a proposal to start talks between Iran and the west. The proposal covered many issues but Iranian...
