Vanity - hope ir shows up as such. Anyone have serious experience in silver investments, physical possession? Specially American Eagles due to easy recognition and perceived value. All value is perception. How much over spot? Valid premise? Alternatives(not gold please). .... I am ignorant but 15% to more over spot seems excessive. Looking at monster boxes but it smells funny but again it could be smelling my own ignorance. Searches are mostly hitting sale adds. Any thoughts appreciated. Admins - if I posted this wrong please delete. Don’t need tp be banned for ignorance. I can be taught.

The House voted Tuesday to grant new legal powers to a key committee investigating the Trump administration, handing Democrats another tool in their battle to bore deeper into Robert Mueller's report on Russia's election meddling and potential obstruction by President Trump. The 229-191 vote broke down strictly along partisan lines with no defectors from either party, highlighting the entrenched divisions on Capitol Hill between Democrats accusing Trump of conducting a "cover-up" related to Mueller's findings, and Republicans fighting to protect their White House ally from what they consider a political "witch hunt" heading into 2020. The resolution empowers the House...

    Fox News ^ | June 11, 2019 | Joseph A. Wulfsohn
Former Obama advisor David Axelrod expressed his concerns that former Vice President Joe Biden is "playing into the the caricature" made by President Trump that has questioned the Democratic frontrunner's fitness to lead. Both Trump and Biden exchanged harsh attacks between one another on Tuesday as they both made campaign stops in Iowa, with the president telling reporters outside the White House that the former VP is "weak mentally.” Appearing on CNN, Axelrod cautioned that Biden's light campaign schedule, when compared to those of other competitors in the Democratic field, left him open to such criticisms. "The thing that I...

Morrissey, a colorful and controversial former Richmond prosecutor, served eight years in the House as a Democrat before vacating the seat for an unsuccessful challenge of Dance as an independent. During his 30-year political career, he has brandished, sometimes literally, the image of “Fighting Joe” — a feisty populist who prides himself on serving constituents who are overlooked and underserved. Morrissey’s reputation also includes a misdemeanor conviction of contributing to the delinquency of a minor involving relations with his then-17-year-old law firm employee, whom he later married. His wife became a prominent figure in his campaign and introduced him at...
  • Atheist Scientists Now Acknowledge God, Just Refuse to Call Him That

String theorists, astrophysicists, and metaphysicists are just like 1st century Athenians. They now acknowledge an "unknown" God (what they call the 10th, 11th, or 26th dimension), they just won't submit to Him or acknowledge that He has anything to say to them. It seems that all of these theories require the "top" dimension (the 10th, 11th, or 26th, depending on the theory) to have the following properties: No beginning or endUnlimited energyUnlimited informationAll encompassing In biblical Christianity we'd call those: EternalOmnipotentOmniscientOmnipresent Science has come full circle, begrudgingly acknowledging what believers and theologians have already known for thousands of years. According to two media reports democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden is scheduled to completely reverse his position on China, and outline the Asian nation as a global geopolitical threat in an Iowa speech today. That’s not a reversal or a flip-flop, that would be a triple-lindy. Since the first day he announced his candidacy Joe Biden has been saying China does not pose a threat to the U.S. or our global allies. He has consistently down-played any talk of China as an economic or geopolitical threat to the U.S. The Biden family has also made millions from their financial relationships...

[Catholic Caucus] Traditional Latin Mass saves U.S. parish from closure PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island, April 3, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – A historic U.S. Catholic Church has escaped closure thanks to the return of the traditional Latin Mass.   St. Mary’s Church on Broadway in Providence, Rhode Island was the focus of a WPRI news spot this past Sunday because the ancient liturgy now being celebrated there has increased the congregation, leading to a fuller collection basket and thus a future for the 150-year-old church. St. Mary’s “is going back in time in order to move forward,” said WPRI News reporter Julianne Lima...

Comedian Bill Maher went after President Trump and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton on Monday night, saying both “committed obstruction of justice” but Trump did so “in much worse fashion.” Maher told CNN host Chris Cuomo “there’s a lot of reasons why the Democrats lost,” with many of them surrounding Clinton being “a terrible candidate.” “She committed obstruction of justice” by “smashing up phones and hard drives,” Maher said, adding, “Now, Trump did, I think, in much worse fashion.” **SNIP** Maher added the media “over-covered” the Clinton email scandal, noting he believes the coverage affected the 2016 election. “They...

For anyone who watches Fox News Channel, it's not at all surprising that its anchors and hosts (with few notable exceptions) talk up President Donald Trump while knocking down the Democrats running against him in 2020. While that position puts Fox somewhere in the gray area between journalism and activism, it's not exactly new. There are ratings in partisanship -- so Fox News engages in partisanship. But even partisanship should have its limits. And one of those limits should be raising entirely unfounded questions about a presidential candidate's health. Which is exactly what two Fox News personalities -- Kennedy and...

When Cody Barlow missed the Pride parade in Tulsa -- the closest celebration to his rural Oklahoma town -- he found another way to be an LGBTQ ally. Using duct tape and mailbox letters, he decorated the tailgate of his 1991 Chevrolet Silverado with a rainbow pride flag and a message: "Not all country boys are bigots... Happy Pride Month." Barlow, 28, identifies as a heterosexual man. He has gay friends and relatives who have experienced hatred because of their sexual orientation, he said. He wanted those people and others like them to know they're not alone, even in places...

Her husband, Peter Max, a pop icon in the 1960s and 1970s, is now 81 and suffering from dementia. His bright, eye-popping colors made his paintings some most recognizable works of the psychedelic era. Despite his counterculture aesthetic, he became very wealthy doing commissioned works for the most mainstream of clients such as the NFL, FIFA, the Recording Academy and various media companies. Mary Max had in recent years been embroiled in family legal battles over the artist and his work, which were chronicled in a recent New York Times piece.

Donald Trump has not ruled out asking former White House strategist Steve Bannon to help run his 2020 presidential campaign, according to a new book about the Trump administration. Bannon has recently been in Europe, seeking to boost populism across the continent. But judging by The Best People: Trump’s Cabinet and the Siege on Washington, a book by Alexander Nazaryan of Yahoo News which will be published next week, he could soon be on his way back to Washington. The Guardian obtained a copy. Like Michael Wolff’s pair of books about the Trump campaign and White House, The Best People...
