Woman turns dream, $100 into teen girls' safety net

Carol Lynne Gibson smiled and inhaled the aroma of baby shampoo and soap as she entered a walk-in closet filled with donated baby items, teddy bears and handmade afghans.

"I love the smell of the 'blessings closets,'" said Gibson, as she toured a newly built Christian home and school for pregnant or hurting teenage girls that opened this month on Jacksonville's Westside.

Bump. When I was in college the fraternity I was a member of had a house like this accross the street. Always thought they did good work. Of course, being across the street from a fraternity was probably not the best local. We were more lost then the girls, by quite a ways.
