Sorry for the vanity, but this is just too tasty. I get real-time quotes, and watch salon.com. Now at 16 cents a share. It appears to be in a free-fall now, losing 3 cents since this morning with the most shares I've seen traded in weeks. Somebody is bailing out bigtime.
Now the question. To buy 20 shares of salon.com or get a grande latte at Starbucks. Hmmm...

FYI..SALNC is delisted..on the pink sheets.....ergo, there's no market..only a few shares traded daily..so the spread will therefore be bigger...actually, on the pink sheets, the NASDAQ rules of fair practice re mark-ups don't apply....the B/D's are really just doing the customer a favor....at any price.....

There's a strong rumor that USN&WR will shut down at year's end...the advertising market is terrible, and the bid advertisers used to buy all three of the newsmags..now they're only buying Time and Newsweek...thus..bye-bye---USN&WR.......hope someone picks up John Leo....

Yes, I know. Yesterday, 3400 shares traded all day, which has been about average. Today, over 8500 shares with a 3 cent loss. I know we are just dancing on their grave, but aint it fun?
