This, along with President Bush's Inaugural Address, is a close to Immortal Speech.
Perhaps his best speech ever, IMHO.

This was indeed a great speech. And if our President's deeds match his words, we have nothing to fear.
To: FReethesheeples
A thank you bump.

Outstanding. Not only the words, but the manner in which they were delivered. I heard the speech over the radio while in my workplace, all alone in my "cubicle." The audio was crystal clear. The cathedral walls provided a natural depth and echo to his words, and he spoke them, as another has observed, with a cadence finely attuned to the words themselves.
I hope the audio becomes available soon. For many years we've heard the scratchy, distant sound of FDR denouncing the Day of Infamy. Today we hear the clear, intimate voice of GWB addressing "the middle hour of grief."

Thank you. Great speech, indeed.
