They found no cigarettes on his person or in his vehicle after this arrest. Apparently the arrest was based on his history rather than an actual observed activity.

NYC will have to pay to make this go away.

People are focusing on…

1. RACE
2. failure to provide aid
3. callous post-kill behavior

Fine, but if people WANT tobacco AND it is LEGAL, then WHY do folks need a **license** to sell it…? If the license had been unnecessary then the black-market job would not have existed and this never would have happened.

It’s cuz tobacco is a RAQUET. Which is cuz of blather about “safety”, which is simply an invitation for gummint to foul up the seller/buyer relationship.

Which is an invitation for fraud, tax, corruption and further growth of gummint.

Buyers have ALREADY taken the decision to harm their heath —why the need for all this other flimflam, which in this case presented in the form of a callous sidewalk execution.

The real problem is the 7 minute video of them doing nothing other than a pulse check.

Nah, cigarettes. Truth be damned in that case.

As a public service, I have created a brochure detailing how one is to interact with the police:

Of course being dog-piled on by several grown men while telling them, repeatedly, that he couldn’t breathe had nothing to do with it, right?

Of course, being over 400 lbs and not complying with the officers directions to turn around and put his hands behind his back had nothing to do with it either.

Suspecting someone of some crime does not give them the right to murder him either. How about that!

Callous not even attempting to ascertain his health or deliver any CPR.

Not wanting to be arrested doesn’t absolve you of the responsibility for the care of your prisoner.

So you condone dog-piling on and suffocating to death. Very cool. Oh, that is murder, by the way.

False strawman argument.

1) Cause of death has not been established. Other reports indicate that he suffered a coronary, which if true, was far more likely to be caused by stress and his extreme obesity.

2) Both the police and the medics verified that he was breathing after he was cuffed. Further they placed him on his side which is the preferred position for someone in respiratory distress.

3) He was placed under arrests. Had he complied instead of wanting to resist, he would likely be alive today. Instead, he refused to comply and forced the officers to subdue him.

The fault is his and so are the consequences of his choices.

The autopsy found that Garner, 43, died as a result of compression of neck, compression of chest and prone positioning during physical restraint by police.

Just as I said, he was crushed by 4 or 5 cops dog-piling on him even as he lay there telling them that he could not breath. Compression of chest. Wake up, pal.

Americans have been turned into little fiefdoms of political puppets at the behest of corrupt self serving political elites. They get bailed out and we get poorer.

The elites claim if you are on one side you’re evil, and if you’re on the other side your OK? Wrong. Americans instead need turn those that create the corruption, and that are oddly immune from prosecution, and profit from it on their greedy incompetent corrupt axx. Bring out the guillotines to create risk reward.

We need to forget the politics and sweep the corruption from our country and hold those that are corrupt accountable.
