Pastor J.D. reviews the importance of the pre-Tribulation Rapture and why it can happen perhaps today. The stage is being set by world events that are breaking daily. He exhorts all to look up expectantly. This was at Understanding the Times 2017 on October 7.

Christ’s “Coming,” “appearing,” and “revelation” were used interchangeably in the NT for the one second coming. Take 2 Tim. 4:1, for instance:
“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom.”
Obviously, his “appearing” takes place only at the closing out of this age while beginning the next, the millennial kingdom. All done in one event.
Paul, who wrote this, was obviously a post-tribber (and a premillennialist), obviously he didn’t believe Christ comes in “two stages,” once before the tribulation, again after it. Any way you cut it, that two second comings, two appearings.

So then that whole series Left Behind is bogus? The UN antichrist guy?!?
I would hazard that they know now - Jesus was "not at liberty" to know/divulge it but He is now in His rightful place and knows exactly when He will return.
That said, if I had a dime for all those who claimed to have info heralding the event, and who were wrong, I'd have a bunch of dimes....

That verse doesn’t refer to the ‘rapture’ but rather to the Second Coming of the Lord and Judgement. I do scoff at the idea of a pre-trib rapture but NOT the Second Coming and Judgement.
There will be no mockers or scoffers left at the end of the tribulation.
There are two groups, the tribulation saints and the followers of the antichrist. Since the antichrist’s followers believe him to be messiah, how can they scoff about him coming if they believe he is already here?

Don’t worry about the rapture cause you are going, cause you are not looking for his appearing .
You like Cain bring the work of your hands so you will stay with the rest of the mockers and go through the great tribulation . Maybe then you’ll wise up and actually start believing what the bible says .

Unlike the mockers some are going to escape the judgement coming

Those who neglect HIS salvation don’t escape

There is an escape and transformation

(1 Corinthians 15:53) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
Why did Jesus die ? I’ll give a hint - it wasn’t an accident and it wasn’t a tragedy .
Then why are there grain and drink offerings? I would trust documents copied and preserved by the Essenes in the Dead Sea communities over some speculation by latter day preachers. Not bringing your best to offer is what is inappropriate. Cain was a farmer. He should have brought his first fruit.
I believe Jesus told us four times in the gospel of John that he would raise the believers up at the last day.
That will be the day of judgement.
