If US President Donald Trump considers himself "pro-life," he should reconsider his decision to end a program that allows the children of undocumented immigrants to remain in the United States, Pope Francis said.
"The President of the United States presents himself as pro-life and if he is a good pro-lifer, he understands that family is the cradle of life and its unity must be protected," Francis said.
The Pope's comments came during a news conference aboard the papal plane, as he returned to the Vatican after a five-day trip to Colombia. In the wide-ranging Q&A with reporters, the Pope also said history will harshly judge deniers of climate change.
The Pope acknowledged that he was not familiar with the specifics of DACA. "I think this law comes not from parliament but from the executive," the Pope said. "If that is so, I am hopeful that it will be re-thought."(continued)

“Trump’s decision to end DACA” - strike one. It was expiring anyway - Trump decided not to extend the unconstitutional and illegal Executive Order - instead putting it back in the hands of Congress where it belongs.
“not Pro-life” - so, apparently the Pope is another useful sheep, believing the idiotic narrative of the far Left and the media - so accordingly, the Pope is essentially saying that Trump is sending death squads after those who were “protected” by DACA...
So much for the “infallible” Pope...

DACA and allowing millions on unassimilated immigrants into your country, sucking time, money and recourses away from your citizens isn't compassion to me.

I am a practicing Catholic and attend the Latin mass 3 times a week (and Sunday), so I this is not an anti-Catholic post.
In the past, Catholics wholeheartedly supported the missions and missionary orders (Franciscans, Mary knoll, etc. etc.) who gave aid and taught the peoples in the third world to better themselves IN THEIR OWN COUNTRIES. This approach worked.
OK, Pope Francis, is it somehow better to invade other countries illegally and thereby overwhelm their safety net systems and thus take everyone down? How is that pro-life? I repeat, the Catholic world used to help the people where they were located and this did work.

Gee, I didn’t see anything in the end of DACA that could kill anyone . . . Isn’t this dad that we have a pope that is so stinking liberal that he would even comment like this.
Personally, I think it’s VERY Pro-Life towards the Citizens of the United States.
‘Dreamers’ are not citizens, they are illegal squatters. If they want to become citizens, then they need to go through the process millions before them did.
The Pope seems more concerned with Social Engineering than the saving of souls.
He would never come out and say that Mexico should be ashamed that so many of it’s citizens must seek a better life in the “terrible” United States.
