If and when the Rapture of the Church occurs and Christians are spirited off the face of the earth to Heaven, how will the secular governments and media explain the phenomenon? Millions of people will suddenly be gone from the societies and populations of the earth. Many who thought or said that they were Christians, will still be here.
No born-again Christians will be here.

Don’t fool yourself.
As a Christian missionary surrounded by other missionaries, I can tell you flat out — most Christians I know want to live out their lives - undisturbed -in this world and absolutely DO NOT want a rapture, although they will say otherwise.
They are really looking forward to seeing their kids grow up, their son playing high school football, cheerleader competition, their daughter’s wedding, their next vacation in Europe, etc. etc.
That is part of the reason why there is such a push-back against this. The apathy of Baptists & Independents has joined up with the replacement theology of the Catholics, Presbyterians, Lutherans, Mega-Churches, etc. to produce a gigantic yawn.

2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD;

Heaven is wherever God is, and God's most favorite place is described in Ezekiel 16. Jerusalem, and He intends on reclaiming it.
If Rapture were to occur as many Christians believe it may, I don’t think they would try to explain it, but would rejoice.
They want us GONE. Why else do you think they have declared worldwide war on Christians?
You have the longest post so that must mean you win the argument about the Rapture. But why didn’t you post three or four more chapters???
They won’t, because there is no “rapture.”
You can go ahead and cherry pick verses out of context. But that doesn’t mean anything.
One thing I can’t wrap my head around is that if there was a rapture how can Christians be persecuted, and the Church be desecrated? There won’t be any Christians left to persecute if there is a rapture event.
Personally, I think (don’t know) that the rapture will occur seconds before some worldwide catastrophic event such as a nuclear exchange or large meteor impact. The bible says nothing as far as I remember about how people will react to the disappearance. It does say that those left behind will be sent a strong delusion so that they will believe the lie, so I seriously doubt the rapture itself will get very much media attention if any.
The Russians have developed a mass-teleportation device capable of simultaneous transport of all their agents as a prelude to war.

More and more I’m believing that should all the Christians disappear, the world would rejoice.
For some of those remaining, KNOWING that Gods rapture happened would insight them to double down on their rejection of God.
The Tribulation is a time of judgment against those and the more the judgments are poured out, the more they will hate God. They will anguish in the torment and yet cling to and celebrate their rejection of God.
The mark of the beast is more than JUST a means to buy and sell. It is worshipping the Antichrist INSTEAD of God
I think Hell itself, will be full of people who have chosen to hate God, not just while living, but throughout eternity. With every wail of torment, their anger and resentment of God will continue.
Where is the word “rapture” in the Bible? I haven’t seen it. LOL!
