Yeshua will rule from Jerusalem for 1000 years.
do not be fooled.
His bride will return with him to rule after the day of Attonement.

Absolute garbage! The gospel of the adversary.

“You do not accept what Yeshua and his apostles preached; you follow the abominations first created in the mid 4th century by Constantine and Eusebius.”
Please, come up with a new name for your religion, because it is not Christianity.

The day of Trumpets will be Tishri 1, 2014.
Tishri 1 is decided by the new moon of the 7th Biblical month. (usually around September)
Palestinians don’t exist as constructed. They are largely Jordanian. The original name was “Trans-Jordanian Palestine” Which was shortened first to “Trans-Jordan” and then just “Jordan”. Palestinians are Semites, but not Jews. They are the offspring of Abraham and Hagar, his servant. Their Common ancestor is Ishmael, half brother of Isaac.

The implication being that quoting the New Testament is "anti-Semitic"? This "anti-semitic" label seems to be flung around with wild abandon (and zero basis).
No worries -- I won't be fooled. I take Him at His word.
"Jesus answered: My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would certainly strive that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now my kingdom is not from hence." (John 18:36)
will be......2014????
one of us is living in the past
well, actually...
at least one of us is living in the past
ha!
It’s kind of hard for me to understand that in anything other than an abstract sense, because I’m not even sure what exactly “Jewish” means in an ethnic vs. religious context.
A: The Torah verses refer to Jews & Israel, same as 3300 years ago.
Derivative religions with new gods and new texts that pervert and usurp and violate Torah (while claiming supremacy!!!) have no validity or authority.
I’ve been called “anti-Semitic” right here on FreeRepublic so many times that the term has lost all meaning to me. It’s actually very liberating and refreshing.
The Temple was destroyed when Jerusalem was sacked by the Romans in 70 AD. There hasn't been a Prophet in more than 2,000 years. And every Jewish person I know writes "2017" on all his letters, checks, etc. today.
Remember, we are talking about an article quoting "Paul Copan, professor of philosophy at Palm Beach Atlantic University, [who] takes a different view."
Copan is not quoting the Bible when he is reported as saying:
"When judgement fell on Jerusalem in AD 70, Copan thinks that marked the 'decisive end' of national Israel as the people of God. "
I'd say that any time you end up arguing that Jews are not really Jews, then you're into the realm of cuckoo anti-Semitism.
see my post #53 above.
You make good points but most people on FR put more weight on Old Testament theology than an understanding of both Old Testament and New Testament together.
What an interesting buffet of comments on this thread. It’s like the blind men arguing about what an elephant is like.
RE: I’d say that any time you end up arguing that Jews are not really Jews, then you’re into the realm of cuckoo anti-Semitism.
1) I did not read into what he said as Jews are no longer Jews.
Just below the statement, he said this: “we have to defer to the Jews to tell us what they think blesses them and what they think doesn’t bless them. It is not for us to tell the Jews what blesses them and what doesn’t bless them.”
Where in the above statement can we construe that he is implying that Jews are not Jews?
On the contrary, he still recognizes the fact that Jews are Jews.
2) My understanding of Copan’s statement is this -— The term “People of God” ALSO INCLUDES Jews, with the proviso that they accept their God’s provision for their blessings IN HIS SON, which includes BOTH Jews and Gentiles.
my Bible reads differently.
Yehovah will get their attention after threatening their survival.
The people of God, defined: "And if you be Christ's, then are you the seed of Abraham, heirs according to the promise." (Gal 3:29)
Is the New Testament "anti-semitic"? I understand one can be arrested and jailed in Israel for sharing the Gospel. It's ironic that many Christians who falsely believe that replacing New Testament teachings regarding the true heirs of Abraham with a man-made theology exalting the nation state of Israel would find living there unbearable.
