Gods promises are to the whole world, not to just part of it.
I am far from a Biblical scholar and do not wish to attack anyone but I think the Bible certainly points to Jesus as the Messiah.
Back in the 70s our preacher at First Baptist in Dothan gave a sermon on places in the Old Testament which clearly pointed to Jesus.
It was surprising to me how many there were and some of them could not be mistaken for anything else.

I call BS. Even if the European Jews are mostly Russian, Polish, German, etc. in genetics, Jesus wrote that there would be Gentiles who would sup at the table of Abraham, while many Jews would be stuck outside.
I've always interpreted that as Gentiles having a spot at God's table, while many Jews would be left out. However, it could also be interpreted as the Ashkenazi Jews are the spiritual descendants of the Jews scattered all over the world in the Diaspora. Even if the Jordanian and Egyptian Arabs calling themselves "Palestians" did have Jewish blood in them, they've totally rejected the God of Abraham to follow a moon-god cult and its Pedophile Prophet.

The State of Israel is important to Jews because it is on some of the site of the Land of Israel. The Land has importance of its own, regardless of who rules it politically.
Otherwise, the State is just important because a lot of Jews live there, just like a lot of Jews live in America. Most traditional religious Jews do indeed tend to be non-Zionist.

Orthodox Christians have always believed that part of God’s salvation through Christ was to replace the literal nation of Israel as a object of God’s favor with a new nation of believers in Christ world wide. To not believe that is to in effect deny that salvation comes through Christ alone.

The Abrahamic covenant is for all of Israel, not just Judah.
The “Lost Sheep” of the House of Israel are the spiritual seed of the ten northern tribes. That is all the people of the world that sojourn with obedient Israel.
