A massive Satanic pentagram has been placed in a Florida park, causing outrage - with some people calling it 'ridiculous' and 'offensive'.
The display was installed in Boca Raton's Sanborn Square and is located next to a nativity scene.
Preston Smith got a permit from the the city for the display, WPTV reported.

Because they wanted it to cause outrage. If they want to put one up in contrast with a Christian message ... fine. But do it at a different location. It didn’t have to be right next to it.

Christians in Boca Raton should do all their Christmas shopping in another city , they should do all their shopping else . The city deserves not to collect sales tax from Christians this season and it isn’t but a hop ,skip and jump to shop else where when you live in Boca :)
Well, outrage is what the Satanists hoped to accomplish with this. They’re like bratty kids, they really just do this so people will notice them.
God knows the man who set up the satan display and will deal with it. Meanwhile the City should be ashamed for issuing the permit.
While our founders were all for religious freedom, it is clear from their writings that they were tolerant of a range of Christian beliefs, but never really considered freedom of religion extending to Islam, Hindu, etc.
I can only imagine what they would say if told that the First Amendment protections were to be extended to Satanists.
That being said, we have extended such rights and protections to just about any belief and the city would have been on the losing side of a lawsuit had they tried to deny them the permit.
The problem is not with the city, but with the judiciary and society as a whole. Fewer and fewer Americans are self-identifying as Christians (or anything, for that matter). University students are taught that religions are fairy tales, myths, and legends and that only the weak minded believe them.
It should not surprise us then that, given their education, the judiciary feels that all fairy tales are equal and that the stupid should be allowed to display their stupidity with equal access.
I am SHOCKED that they were allowed to put up a Nativity Set.....over half the city is Jewish! I know....I lived there 33 years ago.
It is not inappropriate.Jesus Christ came into the world to vanquish that sort of thing. The pentagram should be on the left- the pre side of the display.
While I hate to see this and hate how it might influence some people, on the other hand, the Satanists behind this are also exposing their own evil for people to see. So by their actions they will influence some towards evil but are also bound to open the eyes of others.
And this scene is also true to the Gospel: Jesus the Son of God came to this world as a little child, born to Joseph and Mary, and was laid in a manger, and immediately Satan tried to destroy this Child, yet couldn’t.
It would also be great if someone could put something up here or mention in discussions how the first thing George Washington did as President was to lead the new government in prayer.
