The way things are shifting, I think this might be back in play. Absurd, foolish, unthinkable. There is only the X and the Y Chromosone, and it takes a man and a woman to bring family to Earth. Real simple logic.

Trump is pro gay rights and has no interest in stopping gay marriage

Real and simple, unless you’re corrupted by liberalism.

I do not expect Trump to focus on any aspect of this. Although I oppose the concept, and I do want someone to focus on it, Trump clearly has other things to think about: the economy, illegal immigrants, Muslim “refugees”.
I think we will see polygamy (I don’t think you can stop it) before people rise up and demand a Constitutional Amendment (which is the only way this thing dies).

Because, as the excerpt implies, it contradicts the truth.

The only thing that makes me smile briefly as a result of homosexual marriage is how they HAVE to get married now to get health benefits. No more donestic partner benefits. I wonder how happy they really are with that consequence.

Trump wants to pick pro-life SC justices. There aren’t that many on the pro-life, non traditional marriage side

“homosexual marriage” No, anything but “marriage.” Do not continue promulgating the fraud and lies.

Not true! And, it’s eternally present whether anyone “wants it” or not.

“Trump wants to pick pro-life SC justices. There arent that many on the pro-life, non traditional marriage side.”.
There is a big legal difference between the two.
Roe v. Wade could be overturned and handed back to the states.
However, if Obergefell were to be overturned, it would be difficult if not impossible to invalidate the same sex marriages that existed on the day Obergefell were overturned.
At that point, you run into some serious EPC questions having to do with classes of people, those who are already married and those who cannot get married.

Why should a putrid extreme Court decision be regarded as law anyway?

As liberals work to hold onto their perverse legal redefinition of marriage, they are not merely battling conservatism, but God Himself, and that is always a losing proposition.
They can battle conservatism, and they can battle the constitution, and they can try to redefine marriage, but they can't battle the biology that says that they procreate, not as "naturally" as with a man and a woman, which would be the biggest battle that they can't win.
Liberals want the world to believe that conservatives are anti-science, but it's democrats who are most anti-science political movement in the world.
They are the most anti-God group in American society, but they are also anti-nature, and nature is, ironically, what they prefer to use as their belief system. Evolution (a favorite "science" of the democrats) has not been kind to the democrats, since one of their biggest constituency, the gay and lesbian community, has been negated the natural ability to procreate in a "marriage", but they insist that they can overcome nature.

How is is it doomed?
through the blood of the martyrs, we must all die.
Something the article forgot to mention.

“...as in the case of Elton John and David Furnish.” The more people hear about Elton John, the more people see through the boring deception. My great grandparents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Kansas and of my great grandfather’s ten brothers and sisters, four celebrated Golden anniversaries. That’s a delightful induction.
