I can point you to a number of Church documents using the term inerrant of scripture. You’re the first person I’ve encountered who had made that claim in regards to the church.
Is that so? I've met at least two Catholics on here that have claimed the Church has never made an error and never will. That is what I'm basing that on.
I rather suspect that there were either some qualifications that you missed or some adult beverages involved in making the claim. I can imagine a drunk 19 year old making such a claim.
It might be worth asking what those charged with teaching on behalf of the Churh teach. I teach Catholic Theology at the undrgraduate level and do know a bit about the subject.
I’ve known a few protestants who think that the Pope runs secret torture chambers under the Vatican—I’m not going to take this as the official protestant position.
No qualifiers and no adult beverages on my end. I doubt on his end either. He was quite adamant. I remember his name but it would take me some time to find.
