I am sure that you will tell Jesus on Judgement Day.

Already been judged, according to the Word of God, by the blood of Jesus of Nazareth and my abiding faith in Him alone evidenced by following Him all my days.

However, Monsignor Pope may be in for a surprise at the size of that Great White Throne on Judgment Day and to find that Mary is not sitting on it. Hope Pope comes around before he learns there is no purgatory to work out the details of his belief system.

It is our duty and our salvation. Some people have spiritual disabilities for lack of a better word. Those who stumble at the word Catholic/catholic may do better if they use the word Christian, although they must needs love their Catholic brethren. Love covers a multitude of sins.

Yes, all true.

Those "spiritual disabilities" are sin, plain and simple, wouldn't you say?

The Catholic Church coined the "seven deadly sins" a long time ago...not that they weren't known then. All humans "suffer" from them. The first and most deadly of them is pride (arrogance). It leads us into the other six.
It seems almost impossible to love God or love each other when we are leading our lives through the blinders of pride.

There are also a number of other sets of virtues, including: The Seven Contrary Virtues which are specific opposites to the Seven Deadly Sins: humility against pride, kindness against envy, abstinence against gluttony, chastity against lust, patience against anger, liberality against greed, and diligence against sloth.

“So ... you don’t have to be a Catholic to be a Catholic ?”

The current pope kind of proves that, doesn’t he?

“The Catholic Church is the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church founded by Christ on the Apostles.

You do believe the Bible, don’t you?

The Bible doesn’t say that in any fashion.

It's a dirty spit-in-the-face to any non-Catholic Christian who may come across this thread.

That's how they keep their coffers full...Fear and ignorance...This nonsense isn't spewed for the benefit of non Catholics...It's to bolster the pied piper aspect of the Catholic religion...To strengthen the willful ignorance of average Catholics...

Self-help techniques which can be attempted by the religious person but not necessarily successfully nor through faith in Lord Jesus Christ alone.

The first founded Church ,the RCC, holds that in it is the fullness of Christ’s church. Every other religion holds some truths, but not all. But each person must honestly search and decide. And God is our judge.

Here's more of the willful ignorance I alluded to...The first Catholic Church may have been the RCC, or was it the Orthodox church???

Christians who read and believe the scriptures know that the first Christian church founded was a Jewish church, not a Roman church...And it was founded in Jerusalem, Israel...Any 101 Bible student knows that...

"Self help techniques"? What on earth are they besides trying to convince oneself of something? Lol. They remind me of the '60's patter.

As for "faith in Lord Jesus Christ alone"--true. Our faith has to be demonstrated by loving God and each other. We demonstrate our love of God by acts of mercy and kindness towards our fellows.

NIV 2 Corinthians 1:13-14 13. For we do not write you anything you cannot read or understand. And I hope that,
14. as you have understood us in part, you will come to understand fully that you can boast of us just as we will boast of you in the day of the Lord Jesus.

And while Catholics ignore those scriptures they fall back on

2Pe_3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

And they, being unlearned and unstable even wrest this verse to say 'the bible is hard and even impossible for the average Christian or Catholic to understand'... That's more wilfull ignorance...Anyone can read the verse and understand what it says and means...

Why is ***anyone*** in the Catholic church concerning themselves with how God will judge others? As long as you have a publicly acknowledged Gay Mafia embedded in Vatican City, that is sufficient concern for you. You will not be able to worship in spirit and truth—Jesus’s requirement for all believers—unless and until you purge that evil from your midst.

When you ignore the Vatican City Gay Mafia and turn your attention toward the judgment of others, you are going even beyond the hypocrisy of the Pharisees. True, they were relentless in their judgement of others. But not even the Pharisees embraced Sodom and Gomorrah in their innermost circle, while concomitently discussing God’s plans to judge others.

Remove the beam from your own eye first, then focus on other people’s specks.

Romans 14:4

Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

And re the practice of concerning yourself with God’s plans for others:

John 22:

20 Peter, turning around, *saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them; the one who also had leaned back on His bosom at the supper and said, “Lord, who is the one who betrays You?” 21 So Peter seeing him *said to Jesus, “Lord, and what about this man?” 22 Jesus *said to him, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow Me!”

And above all, the passage Metmom posted. [Thank you, Metmom; your kindness, wisdom and godly insights are profoundly appreciated.] When Paul learned that the Corinthian church was harboring within its assembly the sexually immoral, he didn’t counsel them to distract themselves by speculating on God’s judgement of others. He told them to clean the sexual immorality out of their assembly ASAP. This is a timeless Apostolic admonition which no Christian assembly can dare to ignore.

Prayers for you and all your fellow Catholics, as you strive to cleanse the homosexual influence from the highest echelons of Vatican City. It will be no small task. May God richly bless your righteous efforts.

The point was not the siblings accompanying Mary, the point is that Mary questioned Jesus at that stage in HIS earthly work. Perhaps over some family problem or perhaps because HE was causing the Sanhedrin to come against the whole family.

Our hint is how HE responded to the messenger announcing HIS creature body family outside the meeting place. [HE is no longer in a creature body, BTW.]

So, have you read that passage?

In your striving life, when will you be born from above? Has it happened already, or are you expecting something special at death?

Are we witnessing ‘invincible ignorance’ from these closed and shuttered minded Catholics? I think we are! They appear to be born of water, but not yet born of the Spirit as they trust in their fidelity to catholiciism rather than trusting Jesus to birth them from above.

The Roman sacramental trail appeals to the secret pride in self that satan appealed to in Eve. You see the same in Mormonism and all other Christian look-alike cults. We have a Roodian on these threads who exposes that secret pride often in his posts. These Catholics are sincerely, but anyone who trusts in heir ability to earn even the smallest mite of their salvation is under the deception satan uses so effectively.

With Eve the secret pride was activated by questioning if GOD had been fully honest with the first couple. With works cults the appeal is to the notion that GOD is not granting Grace until HE sees worthiness through works.

In non-Christian spiritual matters, the origins are always questioning GOD's integrity. That tiny spot inherited from Adam can be activated to resonate strongly. That tiny spot is a secret pride in self. Fidelity to the Catholic sacramental trail resonates strongly with that spot of self pride: 'I'm getting it done as best I can. ... Forgive me Lord for not doing it perfectly. ... There, that should cause GOD to bless me now, until the next time.'

Faithful is He that calleth you, for HE will also do it. Many are called, but few are chosen ... because so few will let HIM do it since it does not feed their secret pride in self.

Church founded Cacesarea Phillipi by Jesus upon Peter the “rock” upon which Jesus will build his Church. When Peter went to Rome Church moved there also.

All unrighteousness is sin. People have biases based on their understanding and emotion. There are many stripes and love covers a multitude of sins.

What an amazing pagan response! Your priesthood cannot call the Glorified body of Jesus The Christ down from Heaven to consume HIS blood because He does not use blood to distribute HIS LIFE throughout HIS glorified body!

Do you know the origin of the phrase 'hocus pocus'?
