The problem we have is for the last 40 years Catholic pastors refuse to discuss social issues from the pulpit. And many, many US bishops are democrat operatives. Cupich is a prime example. He gives communion to those living in sin, to those that openly support abortion. He refuses to support pro-life priests, etc. He says aborting a baby is no worse than not feeding the hungry or global warming. He was a personal pick of our liberal pope. Cupich is now one of the two American bishops selecting who will be new American bishops. The other being the worthless Cardinal Donald Wuerl, who’s never saw a pro-abortion politician he wouldn’t give communion to.

Oh? I just remember the news clip of the massive booing when someone on the stage mentioned God favorably. I figured they had officially declared God as “persona non grata.’

Well, considering many Catholics I know have said the exact same thing, they won’t have any trouble voting for them.

What Does Bernie Sanders Think Of Tim Kaine? He May Not Support Him

Charles Chamberlain, the executive director of Democracy for America released a statement on Thursday that suggested Kaine would not be a good pick, considering “his vote for fast track authority for the job-killing Trans-Pacific Partnership and this newly uncovered push for bank deregulation.”

Given Sanders’ calls to break up the banks and reform Wall Street, Kaine doesn’t seem like a likely contender for Sanders’ support, either.

Clinton already has work to do to gain support from Sanders supporters, and it doesn’t seem like Kaine would be the way to go, considering his support for the TPP and for deregulating banks. Though Kaine’s base in Virginia will certainly help the presumptive Democratic nominee in the swing state, a more progressive VP pick might have done well to bridge the gap between moderate Democrats and progressives.

A Bloomberg Politics poll from last month showed that nearly half of Americans who voted in support of Sanders’ campaign — to rebuild the middle class, change the campaign financing system, break up financial institutions on Wall Street, and build a more socialized health care and education system — will not support Clinton. It would seem that choosing a VP pick to secure that vote would be especially important to her campaign’s success.

re: Catholic pastors refuse to discuss social issues

Im surprised at this post. My experience in both IL and GA is that Catholic pastors are far more into social issues than Evangelical pastors.

I hop accross many churches. Catholic priests are obsessed with social justice and claim it is far more important than the prolife position.

The Catholic priests Ive heard have left Christianity and have adopted the paradigm of Cain, the first murderer.

Am I my brother’s keeper? YES!

That is the paradigm I hear. Jails have keeprs, zoos have keepers, plantations have keepers... and now the religion of social justice believes all of society should be one big plantation where we are keepers of our brother by forcing all brothers to pay for the keepers.

**Mr. Kaine has a 100% rating and endorsement from rabid pro-abortion groups NARAL and Planned Parenthood, and 100% from Human Rights Campaign [LGBT advocacy] for his “position on marriage” — namely, his full support of gay “marriage”, i.e., his complete rejection of natural law and the teaching of his professed Catholic faith.**

Anyone who votes for Kaine cannot be a Catholic because they are supporting abortion, same sex marriage and transgender, lesbian and homosexual behaviors.

You can’t be Catholic and pro-abortion-period! All you can be is a CINO.

“Catholic pastors refuse to discuss social issues”

I’m talking about marriage and abortion. Most Catholic priests never mention it. What the vast majority of them talk about is what their bishop thinks is important. When you have a liberal bishop that blabs on about global warming and feeding the poor and never mentioning the importance of marriage and not murdering the unborn it flows downhill. There are still some priests that speak out loud and clear about these issues, but no enough. Now long comes a very liberal pope and it’s gotten worse. The current priest at my church has no problems telling the truth. The one he replaced no way he would ever talk about abortion or marriage. Ask him why and he would say “I don’t want to run anybody away from the church”!! God answered my prayers when he was reassigned and the parish got a traditional priest who has no qualms about speaking the truth.

As Ann Coulter says, abortion is the holy sacrament of the Democratic Party.

Antonio Villagarosa, urged by a woman who was onstage with him, jammed the recognition of God into the platform despite the obvious vocal rejection of it by the delegates.

As it is yet part of their platform, I’m interested to see how they get rid of it this time. Though it wouldn’t surprise me if the platform negotiations this time are done behind closed doors.

Thank you. I’m sure the read Villagarosa and the unknown woman out of the party after that.

I’m starting to wonder if many devout Protestants are closer in following the moral teaching of Catholic Christianity than many of the current Democrats who claim to be Catholic currently actually are?

And here is a good column by Thomas Lifton on Kaine and his ‘Catholicism’

http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2016/07/dont_believe_msm_trying_to_sell_kaine_as_a_centrist.html

Which he closes with the following sentence: “When the Post touts your deep Catholic roots as positive, it probably means you’re a liberal opposed to Catholic orthodoxy.”

God has given Tim Kaine a face that makes Hitlary look presentable. Demonic activity abounds in Washington DC.

You are absolutely right!! She is protected by Satan.
