Donald Trump has maintained and even increased his favorability numbers among white Protestant Republican voters in the past few weeks, a recent Gallup poll shows.
The numbers stand in stark contrast to the latest ABC News-Washington Post poll showing his loss of support in the past few weeks among several other key voting blocs, including Hispanics and African-Americans.
The Gallup poll found that Trump’s favorability among “highly religious” white Protestant Republicans increased to 66 percent this month from 57 percent in the window between February and the end of May. The 9-point gain is reflective of attitudes among evangelical Republicans, according to Gallup....

What on earth are they talking about...re the Hispanics? Trump has far more “Hispanic” supporters than either McQueeg and Romney did.

This is VERY significant. They are underpolled because they have not been voting lately at the same rate they did in the 80’s. However, there are ALOT of them and the megachurches have a major base of millenials and younger people. A low estimate is between 2-5 million...and depending on the states, that might help.
More blacks, too. Many are aspirational and a glitzy billionaire tycoon fits that bill to a tee.
....and anyone with a functioning brain....
And the Amish, who usually do NOT vote, are breaking away from that, to vote for Trump come November.
Then there are the people who LIE to pollsters, don't have a landline phone, have not ever voted before/in decades, and the Dems who are afraid to tell anyone that they are supporting Trump. This is NOT a year, especially this far out, to believe any poll...good or bad.

I must have missed the one saying, Clinton gains with highly-religious, black protestant DemocRATS.
That’s a given.
I think that it would go a long way if Trump could get some black celebrities to come on stage to support him.
