Gates???

Well, it's always possible that a little hiccup in the counting program (Microsoft certified software) "accidentally" gave Bill Gates more votes than he deserved.

I frame it as “Is Pope Che red?”

Only the older people get mad at me for that. Everybody else just sighs and accepts it.

Not a Catholic here, but why should the Pope or the church care about opinion polls?

This “pope”, has little moral focus.
Socialist lib in every sense.
Not my spiritual leader by any streach of the imagination.
Too bad.

From an ex-Catholic, the Church and the Pope should care. They need a wake up call. This dude who's residing in the Vatican is unlike any pope I've ever seen. Dodge the lightening, but imo, he's an usurper every bit as much as obama is.

The immense popularity enjoyed by Pope Francis ever since his election in 2013

Are they talking about the same Pope Francis I've been seeing for the past 3 years?! Can't say as I ever recall him being "immensely popular". In fact, I've only known him and his Marxist, globalist, open-borders b.s. to be rather UNpopular with most people.

Pope Francis, I remember Pope John Paul II, and you sir, are no Pope John Paul II. Actually, you're a disgrace and an embarrassment.

This Pope is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. His every little nuance is bad enough to cause derision and confusion. He does everything a Pope should never do and be a pop culture voice instead of the shepherd of the faithful, defender of the Catholic faith, and vicor of Christ. He opens the door and lets gays think it is okay to be a practicing Catholic without repenting and denying that sin. He lets cracks in the door that says sometimes condoms are okay, when they never are if you are Catholic for any reason. He lets the devil through the door by chipping at the foundation of dogma and disguised because it is not a direct assault but a modernist approach that undermines the faith and trivializes the importance of the truly faithful. You do not rebuke the sinner buy telling them they have a right to sin and still be accepted without repentance and changing from their old ways and returning to faith and accepting the life choices of living a true Catholic life. No divorce, no homosexuality, no contraception, no drugs, no other way to salvation except through the Son of God Jesus Christ. No half way measures for any of those things.
