Besides, how are you going to bluff your way into Heaven?

I will, first of all, not have to explain why I denied the church that He personally founded, I will not have to try to explain how I followed a sect founded in the l930's, I will not have to attempt to explain why I denied the Eucharist...which He established at the Last Supper.....so far I'm ahead of you.

I can show an organization that isn't.

That would probably be the Methodists who have suddenly, and unexpectedly come out as the champion of LGBTQ folks.

Nice try bro. You came up with a lot of pontificating, but explaining those issues to the Lord, will be easy.
I believe it was you, who said I didn't need the sacraments to be saved, and I took that as gospel truth. I agree with you. I don't need any of them. 🙊🙉🙈 You still did not explain how you plan to bluff your way into Heaven. If you won't answer, I will understand. I will be forced to come to my own conclusion.
Now, if you will excuse me, I want to commit the sin of presumption, by enjoying my assurance of salvation. If others have no assurance of salvation, that's on them.

Now, now.

Is that any way to gloss over the fact that the Methodists haven’t changed any doctrine or morals?

Even Francis says: Who am I to judge?

However wonderful that you consider the "navigators", they are hardly Christ's chosen religion.

Don't you wish you had NAMES to drop; like Osteen, Luther, Jim Jones, Koresh...

You are coming off sounding Mormon-like.

They complain about the CREEDS of men being an ABOMINATION; but when a creed IS posted; they can never seem to point out just what is abominable.

Equating Christ with the corruption and immorality that exists in Catholicism is NEVER a good idea.

You ought to consider rethinking that one.

It’s about following Christ, not any of the things you mentioned.

All the religious activity and paraphernalia in the world is meaningless when it comes to being saved.

Nobody ever claimed they were.

Nor did Mark at any time ever represent that they were.

He's talking about leading people to Christ, not the Navigators.

You seem incapable of distinguishing between organizations and people. Which is not surprising.

Franklin Graham

Really?

Ok, so this individual is someone I can point to say here's an authority in the protestant version of "Christiantity".

So, since he's a "leader" does his words have authority? If he says you should believe XYZ doctrine, is that binding?

I checked his statement of faith and found it curious. Billy Graham Association

He doesn't say anything about baptism. Which is kind of strange seeing as how the doctrine of baptism is the foundation of the whole baptist movement.

All protestants and Catholics considered baptism essential for salvation up till around the 18th century. It was so important that the Lutherans put to death 30,000 Ana-baptists for teaching infant baptism was wrong. Tortured them to death with fire in-fact.

But he doesn't mention it at all.

His preaching has been good for him though, he's made 25 million from it. Good for him. I'm usually happy when anyone is successful in business.

And he's been inducted into the Southern Baptist hall of fame. Good for him. I don't think even the Apostle Paul has that honor.

There are statues of his father in various places. Who's still alive btw. I wonder when Franklin will have statues of him erected in his honor?

In Revelation 11, the two prophets spoken of that will be killed just before the second coming of Christ, does Franklin know them? Does he have the power to shut heaven? Could he be one of them?

Please elaborate on Franklin's leadership status please.

The gruesome be headings of some 40 Ute corpses in 1850, heads stacked in boxes,
and hung by their long hair from the eves of buildings at Fort Utah,
has long been ignored, “You didn’t see the Indians beheading the Mormons.”

HMMMmmm...

In conclusion let us summarize this grand key, these “Fourteen Fundamentals in Following the Prophet”, for our salvation depends on them.

1. The prophet is the only man who speaks for the Lord in everything.
2. The living prophet is more vital to us than the standard works.
3. The living prophet is more important to us than a dead prophet.
4. The prophet will never lead the church astray.
5. The prophet is not required to have any particular earthly training or credentials to speak on any subject or act on any matter at any time.
6. The prophet does not have to say “Thus Saith the Lord,” to give us scripture.
7. The prophet tells us what we need to know, not always what we want to know.
8. The prophet is not limited by men’s reasoning.
9. The prophet can receive revelation on any matter, temporal or spiritual.
10. The prophet may advise on civic matters.
11. The two groups who have the greatest difficulty in following the prophet are the proud who are learned and the proud who are rich.
12. The prophet will not necessarily be popular with the world or the worldly.
13. The prophet and his counselors make up the First Presidency—the highest quorum in the Church.
14. The prophet and the presidency—the living prophet and the First Presidency—follow them and be blessed—reject them and suffer.

I testify that these fourteen fundamentals in following the living prophet are true. If we want to know how well we stand with the Lord then let us ask ourselves how well we stand with His mortal captain—how close do our lives harmonize with the Lord’s anointed—the living Prophet—President of the Church, and with the Quorum of the First Presidency.

Ezra Taft Benson
