The nation that has killed 60 million babies is under judgement from YHWH. He is done with the United States of America.
We have been under judgement ever since the 1962 School Prayer ruling. The first official Muslim Brotherhood front organization founded in the U.S. was the Muslim Students Association (MSA), established on the Urbana-Champaign campus of the University of Illinois in 1964. The Muslim Brotherhood is a type of the Assyrian that YHWH used to bring judgement on the 10 tribes that made up Israel. Al Qaeda is an off-shoot of the Muslim Brotherhood. Their 9/11 attack was a perfect fulfillment of Isaiah 9:8-13.
Since the 1973 Roe v. Wade things have really gotten worse. Since then we have never won a war, before then we never lost one. With Obama we finally got Isaiah 3:4-5 “I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. The people will be oppressed, everyone by another and every one by his neighbor; The child will be insolent toward the elder and the base to the honorable.”
All this moral decay was codified by Judges, just as the moral decay in Sodom and Gomorrah was, according to the Jewish sages, was codified by Judges. So Ted Cruz is “in this race to show this country the face of the God that we serve”, as his wife has stated, which is part of the Dominion Heresy (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominion_Theology), that believes that Conservative Christians need to take control of the secular government and rule over the non-Christians, for the good of all, of course.
Now if you believe that anything that we, as humans, can do will change the judgement to come, then you are not paying attention. But you are paying attention, so now you know why it is not a good idea to support Ted Cruz.
As for Donald Trump, I view him as a type of Samson, whom YHWH raised up to bring down the Temple of Dagon on the Philistines. Read Judges 13-16 and then look at the characteristics Donald Trump shares with Samson: Doesn’t drink, ever; has really wild hair; is really harsh if you treat him badly or unfairly; ran around with a lot of foreign women.
Now look at Donald Trump’s slogan: “Make America Great Again”. Alexis de Tocqueville said: “America is great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.” Donald Trump knows that in a country overrun with Philistines one can not campaign on “Make America Good Again”. However, if you look at what he says he will do, how offended he is by people lying about him, how offended he is with dirty tricks, how he hates the corruption in American government, etc. you know that he is trying to do is make America good again. So Donald Trump is bringing people out of the shadows, so to speak, and giving them hope that things can be better. This puts them out in the world where the Holy Spirit can bring believers into contact with those who are to be saved. So that is the spiritual aspect of the Trump campaign.
On the Bible Prophecy side, how is YHWH going to convince the Iranians that 2017 would be about the last time they, with their allies, can wipe out the United States and attack Israel to wipe it off the map?
How about we elect Donald Trump and he starts to make the American Military so strong that no one will want to mess with us? How about if he starts to root out the Muslim Brotherhood infiltration of the Government? In fact, the threat of having Donald Trump in the Whitehouse may well trigger the attack that is described in Ezekiel 38:10-13, which YHWH does not stop, so that the attack in Ezekiel 38:14-23, which YHWH will stop can take place. Then the End will come.
When the world gets to these critical points, there isn’t anything one can do to change the course set by YHWH for the world. It is much easier if you focus on that narrow way YHWH has for you to do as your part in His magnificent Word.

Previous Bible commentators have taken this as a symbolic vision about Israel (Mary) giving birth to Jesus, and marking the start of the 3 1/2 year Great Tribulation.
However, since “knowledge had increased”, we can use star charting programs such as Stellarium to see that this could be a literal “great sign” in heaven.
The constellation “Virgo”, the Virgin, has always been identified with Mary the Mother of Jesus. The nine stars of Leo, the Lion (of Judah), form a “garland” above her head.
Jupiter has always been identified as the “King” star. It is striped (by His stripes we are healed) and has a large, red spot (they pierced His side).

The great sign in the heaven is complete. This formation has not happened in the past 6000 years and won’t happen again for at least another 2000 years.

Sir Issac Newton’s calculation, which required Israel to be back in the land with control of Jerusalem (June 1967) worked out to September 2015. We don’t know if the Anti-Christ confirmed a seven year treaty back then, but it is possible. The colors of the Four Horsemen are White, Red, Black, and, while it is translated as “Pale”, the Greek can be translated as “Green”. These are the colors of the Islamic Nations that are going up against Israel.

While there are folks who think that the “called out ones”, usually called the Church, will escape the entire Seventh Week, as I read it we are only offered escape from the final 3 1/2 years if we are counted as worthy, or just before the Anit-Christ is finally revealed, which ever comes first.
So we could very well be in the first half of the Tribulation, or Time of Jacobs Trouble. The thing with Bible Prophecy is that you only really know, for sure, after the event has happened.

There are a lot of good things. I encourage everyone to take the time to listen. One of the few public statements about sin. A confession few could make and I would not want to bare my soul in such a manner. The only admonition I can make is the honor and glory belongs to God, not St Michael or Queen Mary......................
Sure, if you want to take bits and pieces of an ancient "prophecy" and manufacture a story to fit it - how could it be otherwise?

But I don't hate my parents enough (Luke 14:26), or my brother enough (Matthew 10:21) or misunderstand biology enough (Mark 11:21) or hate women enough (I Corinthians 14:34), or hate the poor enough (John 12:8), or like being dirty enough (Matthew 15:1), or have enough slaves (Lev. 25:44) and am not racist enough (Matthew 15:22) to follow it.

But another observation might be:
1) the clear, consistent, repeated message is repent and turn toward God. It is not the detailed or secret knowledge we like to focus on. Gnosticism or secret interpretation are alive and well. No one knows except the Father. Why is that so hard to follow?
2) Why do our eyes go toward what happens to the people who don’t repent. There is much said about what happens to those in the kingdom......................

1)I could have easily written what he said at one point in my life. Maybe more than one point.
2) Hey, he reads his Bible and quoted some verses. Did you look them up to see where he was coming from? I didn’t get the biology connection.
3) We all tend to focus on details. Our culture focus on detail, rather than systems. Systems are hard to understand and can give one a headache but it is still a worthy endeavor. Sometimes I wonder if our education system even mentions systems any more. We take a few variables out of the total climate system and say we understand it. I would have to say, God is a complex system.
4) He made me think of a basic philosophical question, who are we? We are either a random act of nature, a product of time and chance, OR we are a created being. I can think of no other options, so depending on the answer to that question, we interpret the world and God’s word.
I’d like to think IZZY is still wrestling with this question.

We could be “reasonable” and field all kinds of opinions, but that’s not the point of FR. Atheism is anti-conservative at a fundamental level, but I know there are several well-known FReepers who are quietly atheist, to which I say whatever. But when an atheist crops up equating Christians to muslims and strongly implies that people who believe in the Bible are dirty, racist, ignorant, etc., that’s when they need to be reminded to zip up.
Izzy, Please take a look at #16 from Peter. I would like to add that if you are getting that much negativity from the Bible, then you are listening to the wrong teacher. I would suggest listening to Pastor Chuck Smith’s Through the Bible Series. There is a C2000 series and a C3000 series. Both can be found for free on-line, or you can get a CD set. The C3000 series is a little shorter because he had less time to get it done.
The reason I am suggesting Chuck Smith is because he walked with the Jesus from a very early age, and tells stories about growing up being loved, guided and protected. Jesus really does love you.
