Mormons are good people. Can you judge the tree by its fruit?
Lots of good Muslims, Jehovah's Witnesses, Armstrongites, etc., at least by human standards. We judge doctrine most of all:
Gal_1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Rom 3:9-10
(9) What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
(10) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Consider why original sin is based upon man eating the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. We would surely die if we ate from it.
We confuse human good and evil for Divine Righteousness, but instead make God a debtor in our thinking.
Human good independent of faith in Christ is sin.
