Words and Warnings: [Mark Mallet/Christian/Catholic]
Mark Mallet Blog ^ | 7/31/2015 | Mark Mallet

IT has been on my heart for several months now to summarize for my readers the personal “words” and “warnings” I feel the Lord has communicated to me in the past decade, and that have shaped and inspired these writings. Everyday, there are several new subscribers coming on board who have no history with the over one thousand writings here. Before I summarize these “inspirations”, it is helpful to repeat what the Church says about “private” revelation:

Throughout the ages, there have been so-called “private” revelations, some of which have been recognized by the authority of the Church. They do not belong, however, to the deposit of faith. It is not their role to improve or complete Christ’s definitive Revelation, but to help live more fully by it in a certain period of history. Guided by the Magisterium of the Church, the sensus fidelium knows how to discern and welcome in these revelations whatever constitutes an authentic call of Christ or his saints to the Church. —Catechism of the Catholic Church, n. 67

It may also be useful to understand how these words and warnings have come to me. I have never audibly heard or seen Our Lord and Lady in what the Church calls locutions or apparitions. In fact, I have a difficult time explaining this rather personal and at times profound communication in my soul that is often very clear and distinct, and yet perceived without the physical senses. I do not call myself a seer, prophet, or visionary—just a baptized Catholic who prays and tries to listen. That said, this period of my life is a conscience exercise of my (and your) baptismal sharing in the priestly, prophetic, and kingly office of Christ with a particular emphasis on the prophetic.

Interesting, I have no doubt that WE ARE living in the last days. Right now Satan and his minions is gaining strength but God shall have the last word.

"We see the warning signs in Greece, Italy, Spain, etc. not to mention that America, once the world’s leading economy, is barely staying afloat by stuffing it’s proverbial life jacket with printed money.

Since that New Year’s Eve, I have sensed the Lord say over and over again that “time is short”. I asked Him once what He meant by this. The response was swift and clear: “Short, as in you think short.” My spiritual director permitted me to share with you the “private” words the Lord has said about the shortness of time in this writing: So Little Time Left."

Hello My Redeemer. Amen

After the Lord imparted these “revelations” to Fr. Kyle and I which, admittedly, left us startled, troubled, and forever changed, the Lord called me several months later to a local parish. He was about to personally invite me to take a position on “the watch.”

Sure.

Matthew 7:15 comes screamingly to mind: "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in the clothing of sheep, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." I see this guy sells his music cd's and other products online. Anyone who reads the news and is familiar with Catholic prophesy and apocalyptic writings could easily throw together the same "revelations" (for profit?) which he has published here.

My my your discernment is off the charts!

Go to any Catholic church prayer groups where the “gifted” frequently lead the meetings or are present?

Gifted: get words or visions from god

Are you a fan of Desmond Birch’s writings?

Have you met a lot of priests who are gifted with words for many individuals from God?

There are those who publicly claim to be "gifted" (without objective evidence) and others who blindly follow. When in the history of the Church have authentic saints and mystics gone around advertising their wares? True mystics are known for their humility and their reticence to be front and center (e.g. Padre Pio, Therese Neumann).

Gifted: get words or visions from god

How can you possibly be certain that these supposedly "gifted" types are not in reality communing with an evil spirit (received from someone else they allowed to "lay hands" on them) and are actually misleading their audiences? Are you aware that this sort of behavior has its roots in non-Catholic religion?

St. Augustine:

"Who in our day expects that those on whom hands are laid so that they may receive the Holy Spirit should forthwith speak with tongues....These signs were adapted to the times. For there behooved to be that betokening of the Spirit in all tongues to show that the Gospel of God was to run through all the tongues over the earth. But that thing was done for the betokening, and it has passed away."

According to St. Augustine, the time has passed.

Are you a fan of Desmond Birch’s writings?

Never heard of him.

Have you met a lot of priests who are gifted with words for many individuals from God?

Not with their own online stores and donation buttons. And Mark Mallet is not a priest.

People generally resort to personal attacks when they have no real argument.

Sorry about that, but your lack of experience with the mystical within the church is that it gives you the heebee geebees which is common.

You are not even experienced with the gifted/mystics, which can be rather common in Catholic Prayer Groups for this time. You know no priest who have this gift because you dont circulate withing the groups of Catholicism where this is present. Healing Masses, Prayer gRoups, Charismatic groups of which priests involve themselves including lay.

Not your fault your scared, but your no expert. i.e. not experienced.

Good Day.

You know this how? Discernment through the keyboard, perhaps?

What lead you to that erroneous conclusion?

How mature./s Lame mockery is a great alternative to an actual argument (if that's all you've got).
