Videos by the Center for Medical Progress clearly shows top officials from Planned Parenthood discussing selling human body parts for profit, performing partial birth abortions, and discussing the destruction of the unborn in the most reprehensible and inhumane ways. So, of course, the Obama administration has decided to investigate...the Center for Medical Progress. Politico reports: While congressional committees investigate Planned Parenthood’s practices, the Justice Department agreed to look into whether the group that released the sting videos obtained the footage legally. In response to a request by House Democrats, Attorney General Loretta Lynch said Wednesday afternoon that Justice would “review all of the information and determine what the appropriate steps moving forward would be.” Planned Parenthood has staunchly defended its practices and claims that the Center for Medical Progress illegally obtained its footage, then excessively edited it to misrepresent what the organization does. Center Executive Director David Daleiden isn't phased. "They will attack me and my organization all day long, but that does not change the facts about what our investigation has uncovered and what the American people now know — that Planned Parenthood is engaged in an enterprise-wide operation that traffics and sells baby body parts," he said in a statement. With the Center for Medical Progress promising more videos, there's nothing Planned Parenthood wants more than to silence this group. They can not do it themselves so they are likely seeking to leverage all their considerable political power to silence the group before any more damage is done. In 2014, National Review reported that Planned Parenthood planned to spend over $16 million in the midterm elections alone. That kind of money is clearly more than enough to buy you a DOJ willing to do your bidding. This could get ugly.

Isn’t this what Trump is saying that special interests have ruined the Congress? Wow! Wonder if Trump will use this issue to make is point. e could get a lot of mileage out of this.

Surely we have a few Freeper Lawyers who can weigh in on the legal issues involved here. I believe there is some chance that the videos were not obtained in a legal manner, i.e. without the consent of the “victim”.
I hope that is not the case but it could be.

From what I have seen from various talking head lawyers they were not legal if filmed in California.
But I frankly do not care.
So...if someone had gotten videos of germans being forced into the ovens at Aushwitz the lawyers preventing their exposure would have “WON?”

Thanks for the input. At least one of videos was shot in California. Not good news.
The reason I care is that if the video(s) are not legal they may well be pulled from YouTube and elsewhere and the MSM will do their best to divert our attention to those “Dirty Video Criminals”

Well, all I have to say to that if human beings turn their eyes from this, if they hide behind oh the filming wasn’t legal, but these atrocities shown are fine, then human beings are a failed species.
There is no justification for this.
I mean it would be no different than hidden cameras being brought into Nazi death camps, and then any revelations from those cameras being ignored because the Nazis didn’t know they were being filmed.
If we don’t end this, I mean as a species if we don’t say no, this is not what we do, then we are true monsters. I am really troubled by this.
