From the article....

Protestants who oppose the doctrine of the Eucharist will say that Jesus was speaking in metaphor or parable in this passage.

It is ineligible to have the Catholic caucus designation as it references Protestantism in it.

It was as (catholic caucus) I do not know why it was removed from the title.

Other that there is a bias against Catholics STILL here at Free Republic .

Because it used the word *Protestantism* in the article.

Policy is that a caucus designation cannot be used if another religion was named.

“Do this in remembrance of me” is not the same as “This is me”.

http://www.the-highway.com/eucharist_Webster.html

Or as the Apostle Paul put it:

“This can only mean that whenever you eat this bread or drink of this cup, you are proclaiming that the Lord has died for you, and you will do that until he comes again. So that, whoever eats the bread or drinks the wine without due thought is making himself like one of those who allowed the Lord to be put to death without discerning who he was.” - 1 Cor 11

“eats the bread or drinks the wine”.

“Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.” - Matt 26

“fruit of the vine”

...”Of course, dogma does not make for Truth... it simply tells what some group believes to be true of their religion....The truth is too simple for some to understand.”.....

Might be why some repeatedly chant the same prerecorded things that they do week after week...as if repeating so somehow assures them of their belief.... Repetition affords them a false sense of being in the faith they practice.....fills the gap of no assurance of their salvation.

I’ve been doing some research into the author of this piece, Mogana, because it’s written so well, so thoroughly covers the Eucharist.

Alex Brittain is the first convert I’ve heard link together mental illness, Catholic hate, and family dysfunction. I could write a book about that myself. =) Here’s a link to more information: http://saintjoe.net/more-than-a-conqueror-the-alex-brittain-story/

I'm sure THAT'S the reason.

“It was as (catholic caucus) I do not know why it was removed from the title.”

Please review the guidelines for posting on the Religion Forum here at Free Republic.

They are at the following link, my profile page

http://www.freerepublic.com/~religionmoderator/

Here is a relevant guideline:

The "caucus" article and posts must not compare beliefs or speak in behalf of a belief outside the caucus.

From the article:

... the Christians who reject this doctrine and accuse us of being blasphemers and idolaters for worshipping mere bread and wine would be justified in their condemnation of us for we would indeed be guilty of committing a great and horrible sin. These Christians see the Eucharist, or Communion, as being only a symbol of the Body and Blood of Christ and is only an ordinance to observe and not a holy Sacrament that bestows God’s Grace upon the faithful.
Inapproiate for a Catholic Caucus thread because it does not give "these Christians" an opportunity to refute or comment on statements made concerning their beliefs.

Addressing your other concern, Religion Moderator is not biased against any Christian belief system.
