Generally you are going to find at least three solid Biblical examples of a doctrine. Verse fragments teased together that kinda make sense in English, not so much in Greek or Hebrew, and you are dealing with something else entirely.

1. Do you DISAGREE that there was massive SIN at the highest levels of the Roman hierarchy? 2. Do you DISAGREE that LUTHER addressed that sin? 3. Do you DISAGREE that Rome made CHANGES after the 95 items were nailed to one of it's church's door?

#1....no

#2....no

#3....no

There is still sin among members of the Catholic church as there is among members, and officials of any religion.

Luther addressed some of these evils, but did so improperly....if you seek change within an organization, seek to reform it from within....if you revolt, as America did against England, you establish an entirely different organization where you make your own version of laws, teachings, and interpretations. While you keep a lot of the main features, you go about making your own, some seriously incorrect, interpretations and lead people astray from what was the truth.

Rome certainly made changes in some ruberics, some behavior modification certainly took place, but in matters of faith and morals the Catholic church did not change 1 iota. While the Catholic church continues to teach ONLY the truth, the revolutionaries go off on their own and teach a huge variety of falsehoods...Some of the very latest are the acceptance, by some denominations, of same sex marriage, remarriage after divorce, artificial birth control, acceptance of homosexuality as an alternative lifestyle, female church leaders and ministers, denial of transubstantiation....the list goes on.

Why are you mad at Luther then?

Because he was so inept at doing what he thought that he was doing that he drew MILLIONS of people away from the true church to his misinterpretations of the Bible that he foisted on them and his readers digest version of the Bible...Sole Fide, OSAS, he did not deny the true presence in the Eucharist, someone after him did. He did give the people the misguided opinion that you could kind of make things up and follow whatever your own interpretation of Christianity was....Sad.

The JURY would like to SEE this 'MISINTERPRETED' bible of which you speak.

Did you say something about the INEPTNESS of your chosen religion's POPES that drove Luther to publicly REBUKE them by 95 seprate items nailed to Wittenberg's door?
