By now, you have heard the Supreme Court issued its long-anticipated decision that imposed a 50-state same-sex marriage mandate. Pastors and churches have exhibited a great degree of uncertainty preceding this moment, wondering what the effect will be on their ministry. Now that the decision has been released, though, we can respond with greater clarity.

Agreed. This is hopefully just a stop-gap measure. People are seething. If religious liberty is not completely restored, and that includes workplace liberty, this populace is going to pop.
The Department of Education, no loss, placed it’s facebook logo on a rainbow backdrop the day after the decision. The comments were so overwhelmingly negative they were forced to change it back. So glad there’s an organization like Trail Life USA. So sad Boy Scouts have been corrupted. They fought longer than most.
My college age daughter is a semi-professional photographer and designer, which means she does wedding photos, invites and the like. She’s also a Christian. We discussed this decision yesterday. She told me very matter-of-factly that she is disappointed in the decision, but Christians were never promised a life of ease and convenience. Nevertheless, we were called to be faithful, and whatever comes will come.
May God help them all.
My son is in ministry. Earlier this year the IRS and RITA both audited him, and both times they found nothing amiss. Nevertheless, he got several threatening letters saying he did not submit papers, which in fact he did submit. Luckily, we have oodles of lawyers in the family, which apparently the government didn’t expect when dealing with a 26 year old children’s ministry director.
A few weeks ago the BMV requested proof of insurance- part of a “random check.” He submitted the required proof. Yesterday he got 2 letters from the BMV threatening to revoke his driver’s license in August, for not submitting proof of insurance. Again, he phoned the agency and explained that he did indeed submit the required proof of insurance in a timely manner, and the woman on the other end of the line stated that indeed, it was right there in the system. Again, his team of lawyers are standing by.
It just seems a lot for half a year, for a young man who has never been in trouble, and whose only crime seems to be that his name is very publicly displayed on all our church publications and websites.
When the Democrats must use the legislative system to enforce immorality on the public, we are a nation in decline. A system in collapse. The Church has never been so under fire in the USA as it is today. There are forces working together (Democrats and Satan) seeking to kill, rob and destroy lives and steal souls because Satan knows his time is short. This may be the best thing that has ever happened. The Church will be purged of all unrighteous workers who refuse to repent, those who still bow their knee to sin and reject God. And a time for those of us that are faithful to the end to give our testimony even to the point to having everything taken away from us and being destitute in the streets.
Imagine, all true believers falling out one morning in sackcloth and ashes on our heads crying out to God and begging for His love and forgiveness on this nation. Me thinks it will come to this, soon

I am so sick of major corporations pushing this sewage. I find it so highly insulting, I am disavowing any relationship I’ve had with these companies, even tangentially.
I used to plan travel on Kayak. This morning, they displayed the sodomite logo colors on their website. I immediately cancelled my account. Ebay is next, as soon as my last transaction clears.

Anne Graham Lotz (Billy Graham’s daughter) had a MAY DAY! call to prayer while SCOTUS was deliberating. Believe me, many women, including me, were on their knees. You were most likely out of the loop because her’s is a women’s ministry, but it is huge.
If things get too tough, we’ll evolve into the system that China has, with large “officially sanctioned” churches, co-existing with the true underground church.
Thanks for that. I envisioned believers doing something like that with sackcloth when the Mayor of Houston was going after the Church earlier this year. Its just the beginning of sorrows for us in the United States. The Homosexuals have an agenda, and that is to eliminate the Church in the US, or reduce it to a state run and controlled secular institution. One that promotes homosexuality and sin. I knew this was going to happen. I just didn’t think it would happen so quickly and radically. But the tribulation may already be in progress.

The Church obviously is not going to destroy themselves from the inside fast enough to suit the devil so they are going to get some help.
Many churchs will marry them with a smile many will give in. Few will stand up aginst evil.
