I have heard first hand accounts of these very things happening from people who have been in closed countries in the Middle East.

In his book “Inside the Revolution” author Joel Rosenberg tells of thousands of middle east muslims coming to Christ after having dreams of Jesus. It is a phenomenon the media refuses to report.
Saul was the same way before conversion and became Paul.
God is going to save Himself a people, and although Believers are called out to spread the Gospel - where we fail (either through inability or lack of effort), the Holy Spirit is going to do the work Himself and break through and reach His chosen ones.
Prayers for those in the trenches, and for the Holy Spirit to bring life and light to those that were formerly dead and in darkness.
Last year I went to a presentation on Islam led by a local missionary who has spent the past 25 years in Turkey. He discussed the dream phenomenon and he believes it is very real. He has had men come to him to learn about Jesus after having these dreams. He said of the hundreds of Christians who have converted from Islam, to date not a single one had been led to Christ through traditional evangelistic methods people in the West would recognize. He said there can be no mistaking the fact that God gets all of the glory for every conversion because it’s all His work. (The truth is it’s always fully His work.)

Never underestimate the power of the Lord..
I met another former Muslim in Northern Virginia that had the same experience in Egypt. Then I did a little research, and came to understand it is NOT an isolated incident. It is happening all over among Muslims. ArabsforChrist.org addresses the topic.
