Oh, this sounds good! We now have (not surprisingly) missing "facts and figures". These "facts and figures" aren't in the Bible (oral tradition) and Catholics won't publish them but somehow it's OUR FAULT because of the limitations of our religion. That is really something to ponder.
I didn’t think so.......
No. It’s nothing to ponder.
It’s something to laugh at.
Seriously, the *secret revelation that only the initiated know* is a hallmark of a cult no matter how you slice it.
They expect us to take them seriously when they can’t even support the claims they make?
I don’t think so.......
Yes, do ponder. It won’t take you long.
I mean, limitations do tend to save time, pretty much truncate the faith and certainly limit God to selected chapters and verses at your finger tip.
How hard is that? .)
>>>Read it and weep.<<<
It is certainly worthy of that.
Since you have put Steefish’s character up for debate (and have connected yours with his) I will join in with a little deduction.
Steelfish knows that he is a fraud who can’t answer simple questions about his faith and instead obfuscates with the same-old, same-old over and over again. You, by praising his disingenuous strategy with waaaay over-the-top exaggeration reveal either a shocking naiveté or a deceitfulness even deeper than his.
Which is it I wonder...
“...somehow it’s OUR FAULT because of the limitations of our religion.” -——
PS: You got that wrong.
I said your “limitations” ARE your religion. As in......
You. Limit. Your. Religion.
(I did NOT say your religion is limited.) That’s a problem with you people. You limit coherency too.
That sure sounds like my limitation is my religion. Not me limiting my religion. When you say "your limitations are your religion" then what is the culprit of my limitations except my religion? Unless you expect my religion to accept, embrace and endorse YOUR religion and then it would not be a limitation. Except that would not be my religion either. It would be yours.
"Thats a problem with you people."
Yeah, everyone likes to hear that because it really elevates the discussion. You don't have time to give us Pauls "oral traditions" but you can accuse and point fingers. I would say that's the problem with you people (about not backing up what you say) but then that would put me on your level.
Have a good day.
Yeah, well I found out that religion was limiting me so I ditched it and found freedom in Christ.
There’s nothing like it. You should try it some time.
Indeed.
Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man. For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away. (Job 32:21-22)
Caths and others are contrary to the intent of:
But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. (Matthew 23:5-7)
But sometimes i have wrongly called myself by a flattering title, though only a worm and unprofitable servant.
CHRIST-ian- CHRIST i. am. nothing. But being bought with a Price, at God's expense, gives us vast worth.
Yeah, well I found out that religion was limiting me so I ditched it and found freedom in Christ.Theres nothing like it. You should try it some time.” -——

Been there.
It gave me the “freedom” to ask simple questions and ask for answers, for greater understanding. As in, asking why? how?, who? what? where? when? if?
You should try it.
Try stringing a few thoughts together. It leads to courage enough to ask. God is big enough to answer, without slaying the seeker, actually.
Good day to you, too.
Because Steelfish tends to inform but skips over the entertainment you provide, I guess you would want to think him a fraud. LOL!
Good luck with that. <:/
And you think that contending for the truth of scripture here is not service to God because?
I’m thinking she did ask those questions and that’s why she is no longer a Catholic.
%:D
We always have to bring a shovel to these threads, don’t we? LOL! :)
Now off to the showers!
I pray that all the time onyx. I obey God’s word to spread His word and it’s up to Him to open people eyes and hearts. I can’t change those things so I leave that up to Him.
Give us an example of *the wrath* that that she is experiencing.
What comments are you interpreting as *wrath*?
Post numbers and quotes will suffice.
