Dallas megachurch pastor Robert Jeffress said Sunday during his "Countdown to the Apocalypse," sermon series that it was Satan who delivered the religion of Islam to the prophet Muhammad and further asserted that following that religion will "lead you to hell."
In his six-week sermon series, Jeffress, who pastors Dallas' 11,000-member First Baptist Church, explains how Jesus told of the rise of radical Islam and that increased Christian persecution around the world would "precede His return to this Earth."
In a Sunday sermon, the 59-year-old attempted to debunk the claim that Muhammad was delivered Islam by an angel and stated that the angel Muhammad saw was really the devil desguised "as an angel of light."
"It was Satan himself who delivered those delusions to those people to lead people by the millions away from God," Jeffress said. "Islam is a false religion that will lead you to hell. It is based on a false book that is based on a fraud. It was founded by a false prophet who was leading people away instead of to the one true God," he said during the May 10 sermon tited: "Christians in the Crosshairs."
Jeffress added that just as the Antichrist will seek to rid the world of Jews and Christians, religious minorities across the world are being killed and persecuted at an alarming rate by Islamic radicals who feel called by their faith to commit such acts.

Indeed. We have a Black pastor in our neighborhood who has preached similar things. He has received death threats to himself and his family, and is fully armed at all times.

I’ve been saying it all along that islam is a satanic moon cult. Its written than an “angel” came down to give mo-ham-head the tennants or pillars of islam. Well wasn’t Satan an angel at one time?

Your understanding is incorrect as evidenced by the fact that somebody wrote down what Muhammad said.
Michael Youssef wrote that the greatest thing he fears is not ISIS but an apostate Christian church. Mohammed learned first from an heretical Christian monk and then an heretical Jewish leader. Neither knew their faith correctly so Mohammed was influenced and had a knowledge base of both.
Mohammad was illiterate, which is why islamic writing was done by others to transcribe based on Mohammad’s recitations - the Koran. Why would an angel choose an illiterate man to write the word of God?

I’m not even certain that Muhammad was really illiterate.
According to Muslims, he was being raised by his uncle, he traveled as a merchant, delivering supplies to various communities.
He also traveled extensively with his first wife Khadijah, who hired him to help her with her trade business.
Surely there must have been some sort of written record kept to document these transactions. The merchant trade cannot exist without written records of what and how much was shipped to whom.

There was a time not long ago that I would have dismissed this as foolishness. Now not so much.

I have grown to understand that any angel sent to Mohammed by our Father in Heaven, would NOT have given Mohammed the message of hate that Mohammed claims to have received. The source was either demonic or Mohammed’s own warped and fevered mind, or both.
Right or not, mega-churches are just a cash grab.
