When there is no defense ...attack the person...so it becomes about me not the pagan superstitious belief that wearing a brown piece of cloth makes you holy and pleasing to God and is a get out go jail free card thanks to Mary
Here's another bare-chested Catholic man [Karol Wojtyla] wearing the brown scapular. He [JPII] might say to you [he told a personal friend], "You must pray m-o-r-e," and then you will understand.

I posted no question to you, neither do I appreciate you intruding to set terms of how or even if someone else chooses to answer a question I pose to them.
You reveal you are not familiar with FR or the Religion Forum or how things work around here.
Welcome.

Speaking of keeping people ignorant of history, have the Lutherans started doing Sunday readings of On the Jews and Their Lies yet?Other than a nice zinger, why would you ask if Lutherans read that in church?
Luther is not a prophet. He is one of the writer's of the Lutheran confessional document: the Book of Concord. Additionally, Luther's small catechism is an amazing summary of christian belief.
Lutherans believe that all men are sinful. We are not surprised or offended that people are flawed. We take the wheat and leave the chaff.
That people have taken Luther out of context and done horrible things doesn't surprise us. By context, I mean by understanding all of his writings and how they fit together. How many horrible things have been done in the name of God? This happens throughout history.
If you want to compare Luther with the bad Popes or even some of the good Popes, I'd welcome the comparison. Ever heard of the Pope's pear?

Would you say the same thing if people were facing Mecca five times a day to improve their lives?? Yes.
If someone is sincerely trying to be a better and holier person, I think that is good.
You need to read up on Islamic history if this is your understanding of Islam

Uhm, you really dont get the way things work around here.
Just saying, the rules than you expressed in your post are your own personal rules and are not in agreement with forum guidelines.
Besides, I find your personal rules as stated high-handed and imminently ignorable.

Many people are born into muslim families or societies through no fault of their own, and yet are moved spiritually toward God. Muhammed co-opted many of the religious best practices of his day from Christianity, Judaism and the local Pagan practices. Those practices can be spiritually fruitful. Regular prayer can change people for the better. Yep.....those principles of Jihad are found all over the Bible. NOT!
You really have a distorted understanding of Islam.

You’re making this entirely personal. Stop. Please.

How do you know? Were you there? If you dont haves pictures, it never happened....or did it? Good grief....the weakest argument I've seen on FR. It doesn't even deserve the words I've written so far.

They love grouping us with the Mormons, or the Jw’s or the universalists ...
Well the Mormons have the “magic underwear” and the Catholics have this “Brown Scapular” (whatever that is...) so I’d say there are already some similarities between the Mormons and the Catholics.

I’ve seen many accounts from former Muslims who converted to Christianity where they reported actually seeing and speaking with Jesus.

I expect more of this as this age winds down. The militants and their mullahs are fighting this tooth and nail. New Christian converts from Islam are the ones having their heads severed, to a large extent. Roman Catholicism presents little threat to militant Islam.

No, I think I’ll just go elsewhere.
Thanks

Those that speak of “interpretation” blaspheme the Holy Spirit.
The word of God tells us that it is to be read, not interpreted. The Holy Spirit (if he is with you) interprets as the word is read.
