As we look at the world around us and the individual mountains we are each overcoming by Your grace, You are ever there to remind us instead to look at You. You are wonderful, our God—so wonderful.
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)
Furthermore, brethren, do pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may speed on (spread rapidly and run its course) and be glorified (extolled) and triumph, even as [it has done] with you, (2 Thess. 3:1)
Therefore, we pray for salvations for every single member of our Armed Forces, every person in authority in our Nation and every family member of our prayer warriors assembled in this place. According to Your promise, may Your Word speed on, spread rapidly and run its course. May it be glorified and extolled and triumph in each life. May they be saved from perishing—each and every one. This is not too big for You.
By Your grace, Sir, protect all those members of our Armed Forces serving in harm’s way. By Your Spirit, teach them of Your faithfulness and goodness.
The shed blood of Jesus is enough to wipe clean the sins of our citizenry, even though in our eyes it is so great. We trust His blood’s power to cleanse and heal us as a Nation and praise You with thanksgiving this day in His name. Amen.
Please pray with me today for the members of our Armed Forces and the lost in authority and in our families.
Amen to every word of your Prayer for Our American Heroes and Our Nation.
