Honestly, I think it is now only conjecture to say that World War III is not underway. Just as the world didn't recognize the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand as the beginning of World War I, so the world didn't immediately recognize the invasions of Austria and Poland as the beginnings of World War II.
You will see WWIII has started when you see a bright flash of light.
It will end 20 minutes later.

The present state of affairs was brought about by Obama. But, even so, it’s still not a World War. And my prediction is that when Obama leaves office, it still won’t be a World War ... and then the next President can start acting like a real President should and we’ll try to undo all the damage Obama has caused.

When we start approaching a significant fraction of the dead as we got in World War II, then you might have something worthy of the name “World War”.
World War II had over 60 million dead as a result of that war. So, let’s say that we can “start getting suspicious” that we have something that is called a “World War” when we pass a threshold of 20% — in other words, about 12 million dead as a result of the war! Then if another year goes by and we have another 12 million dead as a result of the war (making it 40% of before) then pretty much everyone in the world will be using the name “World War” ... :-) ...
By the time we get to the end, we will have definitely reached 60 million or more, so NOBODY will be quibbling about the label “World War”.”
Star Traveler, your are correct on your percentages and human calculations. But this WWIII (and if you think WWII was not this same battle... what can one do?) is not a battle of human flesh and blood. It is a battle against the rulers of evil and the Power of G-d.

We all have our opinions. As I said, what’s going on now around the world has not happened in 70 years. We live in a tinderbox. One wrong move by any number of nations/groups could plunge us into the worse war the world has ever seen......
Three way cluster puck is pulling them all in. From Breibart, Saud’s are preparing landing forces for Yemen coastal invasion. Ground troops from the following nations will participate: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, Morroco, Jordan and Sudan.

That’s one war that I’m going to enjoy from a distance! It doesn’t involve us, but rather two factions of Islam. Whatever side appears to be winning, we should supply the other side ... just to keep it going! In other words, don’t let either side win.
In the meantime, that takes the pressure off Israel in the Middle East. And I would definitely make sure Egypt was well-supplied and had all the necessary military aid they needed right now, as this present Egypt is closer to Israel and helping with their security issues than at any other time!
And when we get a better President, this Sunni/Shia war will also take the pressure off the USA in the Middle East!

This war already involves North African nations, Middle Eastern nations and Asia Minor nations. No way the world can stay out. Just watched a video on Breibart from MSNBC where even the Progresso’s are stunned. We are against Iran in Yemen, for Iran in Iraq and both for Iran and against Iran in Syria. We conservatives know most of these problems were caused by a woman who just deleted all her emails from scrutiny and who thinks questioning her integrity is sexist. Think we may know why lol.

Just for a “numbers count” for two big wars we’ve had ... in Iraq, it’s a bit over 500,000 killed since 2003. In Afghanistan, it’s about 30,000 (or maybe a little bit more) for the longest war in US history!
So, for what we’ve been involved in (our two biggest wars) from around 2002 to the present ... it’s been roughly 500,000 (and that’s primarily on the other side)! AND ... that’s been over a 13 year period of time.
We’ve got a very long ways to go before we hit “WORLD WAR STATUS” of 60 million in just five years!
