What a boneheaded, stupid move it was to give Iraq up for grabs by obola after it was pacified at huge cost. Then, to destabilize Libya and Egypt. Just insane.....
Wouldn't that be a little difficult?
Only 12% of the world's Muslims are Shi'ites, the other 88% are Sunnis.
So who "goes bloodbath" on who?
From halo66: “Agree with that...this may be a prelude to a World War, but currently is a regional war.”
amessenger4god’s opening statement: “Honestly, I think it is now only conjecture to say that World War III is not underway. Just as the world didn’t recognize the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand as the beginning of World War I, so the world didn’t immediately recognize the invasions of Austria and Poland as the beginnings of World War II.”
This was amessenger4god’s opening statement.
All you have to do is look at World War II and see if we’re even close to the military actions going on back then. We’re nowhere even close to the kind of stuff going on then.
We had a large number of countries going against Iraq (several times), and no one has called that a World War. Israel has been attacked many times and that wasn’t referred to as a World War. We’ve been involved in Afghanistan for the longest war in the history of this country, and that’s not referred to as World War.
We gathered together some counties to go after Libya, and that wasn’t a World War.
There will be all sorts of these kinds of local wars going on and none of them are World Wars, no matter how many of them happen, one after the other. Israel might be attacked once again by multiple Arab countries and that will not be a World War, just as the previous attacks on Israrl were not a World Wars.
When you get multiple countries of the world, lined up, each on two sides, and the entire Western civilization faces big land losses, like France disappearing, or half the USA gone because the other side holds that territory, or England has been taken over by the other side, and a few aircraft carriers have been destroyed, plus possibly some submarines destroyed and maybe a few of our cities have been nuked and the civilian loss of life is from 10 to 50 million or more dead ... THEN you’ve got yourself a World War worthy of the name ... :-) ...
Shiites do not want to possess Mecca and Medina. They want to replace those sites with their own holy sites located further east. That is why they want nukes real bad. Destroy Israel, attack Mecca and Medina, and it will create the chaos or vacuum for the new Mahdi led Caliphate. Obama and the Corrupted Oligarchs are playing right into the Iranian hand.

No, regional wars DO NOT BECOME World Wars. We’ve had so many regional wars (so many I can’t count them) since World War II ... and STILL we have not had World War III
And destabilizing Syria and Ukraine. It is stupid to do those things when you are weak. And Obama also made us weak. He is not governing in the best interests of Americans. He is governing in the best interests of the corrupt global Oligarchs.
WWII was a European issue. WWIII is a Middle East issue.
Can one compare the two?
This phrase ...
“... this may be a prelude to a World War, but currently is a regional war.”
could be said for EVERY WAR since World War II ... AND STILL ... we have not had World War III.
We are replaying 1939 but in the Middle East instead of Europe. And this time, nukes will be in play.
“A World War is where -all- nations take one side or the other...”
And the ones that remain neutral are the ones capitalizing
them all. Keep an eye on the bankers. History has shown
they have the biggest hand in war and in most cases are
the only winners.
The problem here is unique. The Foreign-American dictator considers his reign his enemy also.
See this is where the 12’ers come in. And I don’t know enough about them beyond the overall philosophy of the 12th imam and the chaos needed to bring his return etc.
Shia have their largest populations in Iraq (6065%), Iran (9096%). So, they may well figure that now is the time to play their hand if they have a deliverable nuke (if we assume that they have at least one working unit maybe two) They may not be high yield, but it’s probably enough to kill millions. Toss one into Riyadh maybe another into Israel, and it sure would change the dynamics.
I do suspect that the real target is the House of Saud.
Destroy Mecca and Medina? OK...that’s a new one on me, but I’ll cede that point. If the Shia want new holier places Qom I assume is the new Mecca since the Mahdi was tossed in the well there or something like that.
We are dealing with people who have been breeding with their first cousins for 1400 years. Nothing good comes of it.
Well, we can use another metric to help you out in understanding it ... :-) ...
When we start approaching a significant fraction of the dead as we got in World War II, then you might have something worthy of the name “World War”.
World War II had over 60 million dead as a result of that war. So, let’s say that we can “start getting suspicious” that we have something that is called a “World War” when we pass a threshold of 20% — in other words, about 12 million dead as a result of the war! Then if another year goes by and we have another 12 million dead as a result of the war (making it 40% of before) then pretty much everyone in the world will be using the name “World War” ... :-) ...
By the time we get to the end, we will have definitely reached 60 million or more, so NOBODY will be quibbling about the label “World War”.
I defer to your knowledge and wisdom.
We haven’t had anything close to the present state of affairs since WWII. The Cuban Missile Crisis could have caused a WW, but that was a singular incident. What is happening now in the ME, Africa, Ukraine, Russia is something all together different.....
In case anyone cares, the UN has pulled out of Yemen today. No ceasefire possible. All out war now in Yemen.
