Bad news for this sad old queen:

"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." - Matthew 24:35

The Bibles he is defacing are only physical representations of the Word of God. His Word stands forever and will be used to judge McKellen when he dies.

He’s made a ton of money playing a central character in adaptations of very Catholic books. He probably doesn’t realize it...

Well, I never had homosexual feelings, but must confess, I was fearful around girls at school dances and such when I was just a boy. LOL. Well I got over that and was happily married for decades.

but seriously, if someone is so fearful that it affects their lives and affects their behavior in such a manner, something is wrong. But, we are not allowed to say homosexuality is a mental or emotional condition anymore. So that’s where we are at as a culture.

I was arguing this with a Cousin, she says the Bible was written by 2000 year old caveman that rubbed sticks together to start a fire.

She says she is a Christian, I say she needs to respect God`s Word.

She says Jesus never spoke on these things...I corrected her and said yes He has. Jesus was in the beginning with God and approves of every Word ever written in the Bible.

In fact Jesus is the Word...John Chapter 1 from vs 1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth

So for those that say Jesus said nothing about this...yes He did and approved it all

“Does he do that to Korans? No, of course not.”

My thoughts exactly.

Liberals are wimpoid marshmallow-brained slime molds.

And that’s on their really, really good days.

Does he do that to Korans? No, of course not.

If I ever found a koran in a hotel bedroom, I would buy a pig bookmark and make sure to insert it between the pages:

I think that there is a lesson to be learned here, that merely removing passages or books from the bible does not change the Bible except in your own mind.....the entire Bible remains intact......../

Years ago, in Hawaii, the Hotels had both a Gideon Bible and a book of the “Sayings of the Buddha”. The Marriots also had the Book of Mormon.

I appreciated the Gideon Bible, and perused the other books, which didn’t interest me at all.

However, I DID NOT get my panties in a wad because I am neither Buddhist nor Mormon.

Why don’t they just add the cost of the Bible to his hotel tab?

Because the Bibles are provided free of charge to the hotel. There is no financial loss suffered that the hotel has to recover, therefore no reason to bill the customer for the loss.

In the early days, most Gideons were traveling businessmen, and it is still an evangelical association of professional men of various Christian faiths. The organization decided in 1908 to provide a Bible to every hotel room in America - a somewhat easier proposition a century ago, when there were about 800,000 rooms, compared to nearly 4.5 million today. 'They were concerned about businessmen being away from home and wanted to provide a good, godly influence while they were away,' said Randall Balmer, professor of American religious history at Barnard College. 'It bespeaks an overwhelmingly Protestant notion of the Bible and scriptures ... the notion that anybody could just pick it up and almost at random leaf through the pages and come away with some sort of spiritual belief.'

Anger toward God for a condition they feel they were born with. That he would do this isn’t surprising. He failed a terrible test. Even he doesn’t think it is normative behavior, and nothing in nature would indicate that it was anything but.

He’s not getting any younger, and he still hasn’t dealt with this. Many homosexuals believe they are outside of God’s grace, and many Christians are eager to confirm their worst fears in this regard.

All sin breaks the relationship we have with God. It doesn’t matter what the sin is, the effect is the same. The entire point of Christianity is though none are worthy, all are welcome through the grace of Christ’s sacrifice for us.

That an actor would be dramatic in their outward manifestation of their anger toward God isn’t a surprise. In fact, that he would go that far indicates that if he finds the right sort of Christian, he could be saved. He obviously believes in God.

I’ve heard of futile efforts in my time, but ripping out Scriptures you don’t like, in an attempt to make them go away?
The Word of the Lord will endure forever.

Chew on that a while, Sir Ian.

I became aware of that as I typed. The point is that there is still a LOSS from destruction of property. Whether someone gives it to you free of charge is irrelevant.

The old degenerate will not find it so easy to deal with the author in some where/when he will not control. It is only by God’s mercy that the old fart remains alive to insult God. His time is very short now ...

The condition is called Magic Thinking. It is a hallmark of the twisted liberal mind. It is also the hallmark of infantile adults and sexual degenerates and all of Islam.

Foolish little mortal.

Jeremiah 36:22 It was the ninth month and the king was sitting in the winter apartment, with a fire burning in the firepot in front of him. 23 Whenever Jehudi had read three or four columns of the scroll, the king cut them off with a scribe’s knife and threw them into the firepot, until the entire scroll was burned in the fire. 24 The king and all his attendants who heard all these words showed no fear, nor did they tear their clothes. 25 Even though Elnathan, Delaiah and Gemariah urged the king not to burn the scroll, he would not listen to them. 26 Instead, the king commanded Jerahmeel, a son of the king, Seraiah son of Azriel and Shelemiah son of Abdeel to arrest Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet. But the Lord had hidden them.
27 After the king burned the scroll containing the words that Baruch had written at Jeremiah’s dictation, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah: 28 “Take another scroll and write on it all the words that were on the first scroll, which Jehoiakim king of Judah burned up. 29 Also tell Jehoiakim king of Judah, ‘This is what the Lord says: You burned that scroll and said, “Why did you write on it that the king of Babylon would certainly come and destroy this land and wipe from it both man and beast?” 30 Therefore this is what the Lord says about Jehoiakim king of Judah: He will have no one to sit on the throne of David; his body will be thrown out and exposed to the heat by day and the frost by night. 31 I will punish him and his children and his attendants for their wickedness; I will bring on them and those living in Jerusalem and the people of Judah every disaster I pronounced against them, because they have not listened.’”
32 So Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to the scribe Baruch son of Neriah, and as Jeremiah dictated, Baruch wrote on it all the words of the scroll that Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire. And many similar words were added to them.
