LOL, you just can't admit they'll go to heaven, can you? They'll "officially meet the standard" to go to heaven, but hey, there might be other administrative requirements, fees, background checks and registration requirements.
Unreal.
Revivals? What are you all reviving? Some of that Tom Cruise witchcraft as Ricky Bobbie once invoked?
I just got back from India and found the Hindu people to be beautiful, compassionate and kind. They had a lot of qualities we try to encourage in our Judeo-Christian culture. Certainly they were a lot more tolerant and “Christian” than a lot of Christians in our left-wing churches here.
I suspect these crimes were perpetrated by radical Muslims. That is their calling card. For the most part, all the different religions live harmoniously in India, including their Muslims, but there are obviously those who want to make trouble. Modi is trying to turn a ship around with 1.3 billion people. He’s trying to clean up India (never saw so much litter in my life), educate the lower classes and drag India away from its bribery-and-corruption past, all while a recalcitrant, entrenched bureaucracy is fighting him every step of the way. It is pure fear-mongering to say he is bringing some kind of Hindu tyranny to the country. Modi believes in maximizing the potential of all the people, whatever their faith or class. India has so much potential - we should be cheering for them to succeed.
Your pope disagrees with you and of course so does God...But don't let that stop ya...
38 posts before you chimed and made the first rational response.
Why won’t you respond and clear up the confusion?
Why is it false?
Perhaps we can convert them all.
I personally don’t believe most Protestants go to Heaven because their beliefs have strayed so far from anything Biblical, but God will determine that; does that make you feel better?
The Vatican II religion does not believe Hinduism (or any other religion) is a false religion. This all goes back to the heresy taught in Vatican II. Until that gets fixed, this will only get worse.
a. The senator's views are her own
and
The Pope and Bishop support ecumenical dialogue
No statement contradicting the fact that Hinduism is a false religion.
The statement said,
Sen. Nuxolls comments reflect her own personal opinions. They do not represent the opinions or teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, Bishop Peter Christensen or even our Holy Father, Pope Francis, who has been an outspoken supporter of ecumenical and inter-religious dialogue.
Actually, true Catholic teaching teaches that other religions are false.
Because Jesus is so attracted to pomp, glitz, and the self-importance of mortal men that He would never be caught dead outside the Catholic Church....They own Him.
Heresy: An opinion or a doctrine at variance with established religious beliefs, especially dissension from or denial of Roman Catholic dogma by a professed believer or baptized church member. - thefreedictionary.com
These RC leaders are not only committing heresy on a virtually daily basis, but failing to witness for Jesus & dooming Hindus & muslims to Hell.
The pope, these Catholic leaders, & many others are equally guilty of failing to spread the word Christ.
I don’t know what their fate will be, nor my own, but I’d just as soon go the other way as to share “Paradise” with these heretics & their muslim & Hindu friends for eternity. I’ve already gotten a belly full of it here on Earth.
“I am the way, the truth, the light. No one comes to the Father but by me”. - Jesus
Mark 16:15-16King James Version (KJV)
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
It can’t be simpler than that.
Isn’t that in the Catholic bible? Isn’t that an established religious belief in the Catholic Church? Or is the pope a higher authority, the Idaho’s Catholic leadership a higher authority than the Bible & the plain words of Jesus?
Folks, I don’t have a lot of respect for heretics. I don’t trust their words or motives. I don’t respect their authority.
When I contrast this Catholic behavior with that of the Iraqi children that where crucified & beheaded for refusing to renounce Christ, I want to vomit.
It can’t be simpler than that.
I wasn’t saying anything against Hindus or Hinduism. If you attend a Hindu prayer service, you should be respectful. I only suggested that it was odd to invite a Hindu to preside over an American invocation. Also, that she had a perfect right to avoid attending it, but was not wise to publicize her private views—if she did, and the media wasn’t just after her for being a Christian.
