What’s the matter? I thought you guys went by Scripture alone!
Pontius Pilate declared “I find no fault with this man,” and hung a sign on the cross declaring him to be “The King of the Jews.”

Where in your "Scripture" is that stated?

You can say that only because you call all that are not lost in pagan catholicism “protestant.”

John 19:
[19] And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.
[20] This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.
[21] Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.
[22] Pilate answered,What I have written I have written.
Pilate had become a believer.

I did go to Holy Scriptures. God is Sovereign.
Philippians 2:

Colossians 2:
4 Now this I say lest anyone should deceive you with persuasive words. 5 For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.
6 As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, 7 rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
If you are correct, then why do religious take vows of “poverty, chastity, and obedience” and not “poverty, celibacy, and obedience?”
Chastity means PURITY....HELLO!!
Chastity means “sexual abstinence.”
