I should read it again more closely, but IIRC I didn’t
see much about the other risks of abortion. (cancer, etc)
I love this article. This is how my mind works.
I had to go through each issue on it’s merits with total honesty, then find the truth.
This is how I went from a young feminist liberal to a conservative woman. (Much of my growth came here after I joined FR)
Why the heck are these girls so scared of being alone that they sleep with guys I would not allow in my house?
from the article:
“. . . I couldnt bring myself to think of myself as anything other than pro-choice. Even though I was increasingly uncomfortable with the entire concept, something within me screamed that to not support abortion would be to support women being slaves to their biology.”
American education (indoctrination) on display; women being women, no, but slaves to their biology.
the definition of personhood has been my biggest point to pro-choicers. When this whole debate about abortion started in the early 70’s ‘viability’ was 8 maybe 7 months now 40 years later its 4-5 months and who knows what it will be in the next 40 years? Petri dish?
Great article. Glad to read she is now pro-life instead of just understanding their side better.
