I’ll call him Fr. John. He was a charismatic Anglo Catholic priest.
A friend of my brother Daryl’s we’ll call Henry died suddenly in a plane crash and he was upset because although Henry was a believer he was away from God when he died.
So Fr. John said, “We have to have a requiem Mass for Henry.”
They went into church and locked the door for privacy’s sake. Another priest we’ll call Fr. George celebrated the Mass.
Henry was about twenty years old. He was just over five foot tall with a shock of blonde hair and a wide face with freckles.

Parishioners dead in Christ probably.

Civil War battle grounds have many apparitions. I have heard of daily life like standing in formation. I have never heard of battle apparitions.

They don’t come back to life in this world - unless raised by God as Jesus raised people in the NT. That doesn’t mean God doesn’t use the dead.

Except they’re not spirits “conjured” up and they’re not tricking me.
Isaiah 19 And when they say to you, “Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter,” should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living? 20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
People don’t see the dead. They see demons masquerading as the dead relative or friend.
I had a dog and Bingo was his name.

And none of us does. But God is not a necromancer and He can use the dead if He wishes. He is God.
There's EVERY reason to believe that's what he saw.
We cannot contact people who have died and are no longer on this earth.
What he saw was a demon.

there are many references to the occult and sorcery that God is clear we should avoid. Like the little girl that tells peoples fortunes and future and Peter, et all command the evil spirits out of her and she can no longer tell the future or fortunes.

He does. He can also use the dead.
“Using the dead is unnecessary.”
All of this is unnecessary: creation, the earth, us, redemption, salvation. God needs none of it. He did it anyway.
“It is the work of the devil. Search the scriptures on your own and you will see that.”
I have searched them. And I came away with a clear understanding that we can set no limits on God’s power and He does what He does for His own reasons and glory.
No....says God’s Word. Read it and you’ll see for yourself.
I don’t believe in ghosts. ....except for the three that lived in a house I rented. Face of boy sent me falling down stairs, woman sat on bed next to me (jealous of my wife, of course), and man in garage was just plain mad. Cats went crazy, boy walked down stairs, and I got more than one “help me” in my ear. Toys played with and moved. Kids saw boy almost weekly. Talked to local priest. ...with no danger he did not care. We moved.
Other than that, there is no such thing as ghosts (/sarc.)

No one did contact the dead boy. Why are you suggesting someone did?

I have read it - many times. Probably more often than you ever will. God does what He wants.

How do we know that “Fatima” wasn’t a demonic trick?
Since you’ve researched scripture, why don’t you cite where He references it’s good and right to contact the dead? Or even real?
