I’ll call him Fr. John. He was a charismatic Anglo Catholic priest.
A friend of my brother Daryl’s we’ll call Henry died suddenly in a plane crash and he was upset because although Henry was a believer he was away from God when he died.
So Fr. John said, “We have to have a requiem Mass for Henry.”
They went into church and locked the door for privacy’s sake. Another priest we’ll call Fr. George celebrated the Mass.
Henry was about twenty years old. He was just over five foot tall with a shock of blonde hair and a wide face with freckles.

Miracles do happen.
I had a girl ask me if I saw people that were not there. I asked her what she saw and she said people dressed in old cloths. I asked her if they looked at her. and she said no. There are man people with “gifts” that have not developed them.

There’s no reason to assume that.
And I'm guessing that one of his other flaws was to make up stories about seeing dead people.

No one is disputing that their dead. That doesn’t mean God is dead. God can use even the dead to accomplish His will if He so chooses.

but He doesn’t and he makes clear that the dead are dead and do not come back. It’s the devil that conjures up spirits to pretend to be the dead to trick you.
Yeah, this man’s sad life does not lead my to believe the Holy Spirit was working in him. The whole thing makes me uneasy.
Well, Saul did speak with Samuel after Samuel had died. A necromancer summoned him. These are things we are warned not to mess with.

My daughter’s friend saw people who weren’t there. The girl had a college-age sister who brought a Ouija board home and used it. The girl started seeing strangers in the hallways of her home. I told my daughter to tell her that the Ouija board use could be inviting occult spiritual influence into her home. A great result occured. The friend threw away the Ouija board and went to confession. No more spirits in the hallways.
This is the same kind of stuff that Long Island Medium says.
Several years ago I saw a man who had worked on our family ranch his entire life. He was standing beside a gate and he was smiling at me. It shocked me because he had been dead for 15 years. I looked away and when I looked back he was gone. Something like that had never happened to me before and it hasn’t happened to me since.
It isn’t something that I would want to happen to me again.
I saw Santa Claus.
