It’s the so-called moderates who are not following islam to the letter of the law. The extremists are the ones who are truly following the book.

That this question can be asked with a straight face with current events unfolding before this generations very eyes is beyond comprehension.
Islam was created to allow men to have sex with anything and everything at will.
Now America has joined them in that philosophy.
When Islam finally takes America in full, we won’t notice the change.
Show me something that Islam has added to the world that is positive.
Religion can be blamed for a lot of violence in the past and present. We have disgusting cults here in the US that claim they are doing what the Bible says even though they are clearly not. Doesn’t even the KKK think they are good Christians?
That being said, it is still hard to NOT think of Islam as a violent and evil religion when you see all what their followers are doing. I think if the moderate Muslims would at least call out in mass saying what the extremists are doing is wrong, people would be able to separate the two a little better. I refuse to say that the Koran exclusively speaks of evil because I have never read it (don’t really care too). I know many of the evil things that are said in the Koran because people so often quote them, but the Bible says some pretty nasty things too.
Again, the distinction for me is that Muslims don’t condemn the extremists. Whereas Christians have no hesitation in denouncing white supremacists, cults, westboro baptists, etc. In that way alone, I can deduce that Muslims are more likely to be warmongers than Christians.
II Thessalonians 2:7-12, “The mystery of iniquity already at work only the Holy Spirit constrains, until He leaves this earth at the translation of the living Bride. Then shall that Wicked One be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spoken Word, and shall destroy with the revelation of His parousia: even the Pope, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the Truth (or the revealed Word, which is Christ), that they might be saved.”

Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"
Quran (8:39) - "And fight with them until there is no more fitna (disorder, unbelief) and religion should be only for Allah"
Quran (8:67) - "It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he had made a great slaughter in the land..."
Quran (8:65) - "O Prophet, exhort the believers to fight..."

When the left is confronted with similar questions about what “works” in the world, ie, Western, Christian culture,
they have it “wired” in their heads that the only reason that Western, Christian Culture is successful is because it oppresses the other cultures of the world, and they would be just as successful if the WCC wasn’t stifling them. It’s not true, but it’s a given to them.
Just so, they would take your question and say that Islam would be “peaceful and constructive” if it weren’t for the “threat” posed by white, Christian/Jewish, Western men.
