Satanists Sell Out Black Mass at Oklahoma Civic Center
Gateway Pundit ^ | 9/12/14 | Jim Hoft

The Satanic founders of Dakhma of Angra Mainyu will hold their public black mass at the Oklahoma civic center as planned. The event is sold out.

Tickets for the event are $17.50 and include a performance from a band. The Christian Post reported:

The Satanist group that will stage a controversial “black mass” at an Oklahoma City civic center has said that all 88 tickets for its Sept. 21 event are sold out. The co-founder of the group revealed that the ritual will go ahead despite strong Christian protests and will feature a satanic exorcism, but will be “toned down” to comply with state health laws.

“One of the dictates of the church is not only to educate the members but to educate the public, and to debunk the Hollywood-projected image of our beliefs,” Dakhma of Angra Mainyu’s Adam Daniels told ABC News.

Well...$17.50 is a pittance, there will be Hell to pay!

That was unworthy of you.

We just had a lovely conversation on another thread...and I had no idea how much you despise me!

I don’t despise you. I’m speaking of a contingent here at FR who genuinely hate Catholics - your name doesn’t register as one who actively comments on Catholic forums - I’m afraid their name is Legion. I apologize if I’ve offended you - sincerely.

Okay, I'm sorry, but this cracked me up.

The etymology of "anger" and "angry" is as follows (per Etymology Online):
anger (v.)
c.1200, "to irritate, annoy, provoke," from Old Norse angra "to grieve, vex, distress; to be vexed at, take offense with," from Proto-Germanic *angus (cognates: Old English enge "narrow, painful," Middle Dutch enghe, Gothic aggwus "narrow"), from PIE root *angh- "tight, painfully constricted, painful" (cognates: Sanskrit amhu- "narrow," amhah "anguish;" Armenian anjuk "narrow;" Lithuanian ankstas "narrow;" Greek ankhein "to squeeze," ankhone "a strangling;" Latin angere "to throttle, torment;" Old Irish cum-ang "straitness, want"). In Middle English, also of physical pain. Meaning "excite to wrath, make angry" is from late 14c. Related: Angered; angering.

anger (n.)

mid-13c., "distress, suffering; anguish, agony," also "hostile attitude, ill will, surliness," from Old Norse angr "distress, grief. sorrow, affliction," from the same root as anger (v.). Sense of "rage, wrath" is early 14c. Old Norse also had angr-gapi "rash, foolish person;" angr-lauss "free from care;" angr-lyndi "sadness, low spirits."

I wonder who they expect to cast out in their exorcism?

Sorry, but I only ever see evangelicals respond to attacks and trolling by the Catholics on FR. Your first statement sounds like a bit of projection.

I don’t personally know any evangelical Christians who hold any animosity toward Catholics in general, and I have known thousands of them.

You see, this is why I don't get why religious threads are even allowed on FR.
Plus, I don't really understand why I am not allowed to comment on a "religion" thread the same way I can comment on any other thread, even though the religion thread pops up under latest posts and latest articles the same as everything else. . It's ridiculous. It just proves that FR religion posters are overly sensitive and too easily offended to begin with.

You’re smart to ever stumble into the religious forums. I did about a year ago...it’s ugly, very ugly.

Problem is, you don't even know you are in it if you just use latest comments or articles. Like this thread. I had no idea.

It’s hard to tell the difference between some religious threads that are off-limits to ordinary freepers and some that are open to the general public. I’ve had this trouble before. I do think FR would be much better off limiting or excluding religious forums. It only feeds into our enemies on the left and creates horrible divisions between Christians.

If “angry” can be traced back to Greek and Sanskrit cognates, then it wouldn’t be a great leap to assume that Angra in the “Old Persian” language at the time of Zoroaster would also be connected. Thanks for the info!

I wasn't aware that any threads were completely off limits to anyone. I was referring to the whole different set of hypersensitive posting rules religion threads have. Just check out the profile page of the "religion moderator" sometime. It's comical, really. Worst part is having to figure out weather you are on a religion thread or not, like this one. I didn't know at first.

I recently saw Richard Dawkins during a discussion forum lose control of himself denying that Jesus ever existed, he was quickly corrected even by the other atheists on the stage, I just thought to myself how odd,

Odd that is, that it should make anyone witnessing it wonder how it is that someone so well informed with historical facts and very learned in the physical sciences should doubt his historical existence, Sure go ahead and doubt he was who he said he was if you’ve never witnessed or received his spirit, but to deny he “came in the flesh,”

Its because people like him don’t have a choice, this is a spirit empowered over them, a spirit with an absolute hatred of the truth having the spirit of antichrist, denying Christ, for which we’re told was already at work even in Johns day,

And is identified as:

“And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.” 1 John 4:3

The same goes for these demonic spirits masquerading as new age enlightened beings, light workers, alien messengers, avatars, ascended masters, anything that will attract and draw your attention and interest towards them. We become like the gods we worship, we become like what occupies our thoughts and they want us to focus all of our thoughts on them, it empowers them, strengthens them in the hierarchy,

“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” 2 Corinthians 11:14

The good people of the great state of Oklahoma need to be actively working to bind and rebuke this event and this spiritual symbolism, which is merely trying to interject their demonic authority into that location,

Believers have been provided authority over these evil spirits if we would only claim it,

“Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 18:18

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)” 2 Corinthians 10:3-4
