Same old LIBERAL, jack-ass, smart aleck spin...
No, lefty... Phil does NOT mean that we go out and seek peaceful folk, minding their own business and slaughtering them because they don’t share our ‘religion’...
These folks he mentions are TRYING TO KILL YOU - and YOUR family.
This sick twisting of truth and goodness is getting REALLY old.
No. Robertson is a realist. He knows what he’s up against.
the difference is that Phil would not kill them if they converted from their murderous ways.
if they would stop killing, and let islam convert the masses without threat of decapitation, then Phil would not have to convert or kill them.
equating one’s reaction to another’s action is not responsible journalism.
t
Well, let’s just count & compare the murders and chopped heads!
Gee, what a novel approach - play on the same field following the same set of rules and ideological mindset. Our biggest issue with foreign policy WRT the religion of pieces is that we apply our thought processes (we project our worldview) onto them as though they think the way we do.
They don’t think in terms that we consider normal or rational.
A headline in the UK’s Daily Mail asked, “Isn’t it ironic, Phil Robertson? Duck Dynasty star’s stance on ISIS is ‘convert them or kill them’ as terror group wages bloody religious war across Middle East.”
A caption under the video of his conversation with Hannity was even more direct: “‘Convert them or kill them’: Phil Robertson takes radical stance on radical Islam but fails to acknowledge his solution sounds like the religious war being waged by ISIS.”
Only an idiot who is in full agreement with IS and who beleives the muslim doctrine is equal to (or better) then Christianity would (or could) argue that the Duck Commander's comments are the same as IS.
Big difference, one group is playing DEFENSE while the other is playing OFFENSE
Get it dumbo libtard????
(not you SeekAndFind- the author)
Phil Robertson is a good peaceful man. He was obviously talking about the extremists, and converting them from their evil ways. The reporters who miss represented him to further their careers and ideologies should be charged for slander.
Rejection to tyranny is obedience to God.
Notice how intolerant of other opinions liberals are?
Pray America wakes up
Phil is way way more intelligent than the MSM.
Sorry, MSM, but you folks are the very baseline from which stupid is measured.
I think he means “convert” as is “convert them to civilized human beings.”
Frankly, I think it would be better in the long run to convert them into fertilizer. But Phil’s a more merciful guy than I am.
This sick twisting of truth and goodness is getting REALLY old.
That’s what drives the psychotic left.
Actually, Phil means exactly what he said.
He used the Joan Rivers style of stripping the crap from the bold faced and glaring truth, dumped the politically correct goo goo approach, and just nailed the facts onto the collective public forehead.
Grant it ISIS is not going away any time soon, short of all out war and pedal to the metal air, land and sea operations, but when we engage, ISIS will not be given an option of any kind.
Phil was being generous to even pose the possibility of a conversion option, because it won’t be there.
I find his solution far wiser than the UK, let Them rape your women and children while cowering.
I think Phil was being kinder and gentler by allowing the goat-pokers a choice between converting or being treated like bearded ducks.
Imagine the outcry if he went straight to kill ‘em.
I stand foursquare with Phil, BTW.
Phil Robertson is (in the words of the Alex Haley character in "Roots II") "just a stupid fascist" and has no right to do or believe like IS does. It's his job to be a multicultural custodian of the quaint world museum of peoples but he can't be an exhibit.
