Archbishop of Mosul: "I have lost my Diocese to Islam - You in the West...
Rorate Caeli ^ | 8/17/14 | New Catholic

Posted on 08/17/2014 12:19:31 PM PDT by BlatherNaut

Our sufferings today are the prelude of those you, Europeans and Western Christians, will also suffer in the near future. I lost my diocese. The physical setting of my apostolate has been occupied by Islamic radicals who want us converted or dead. But my community is still alive.

Please, try to understand us. Your liberal and democratic principles are worth nothing here. You must consider again our reality in the Middle East, because you are welcoming in your countries an ever growing number of Muslims. Also you are in danger. You must take strong and courageous decisions, even at the cost of contradicting your principles. You think all men are equal, but that is not true: Islam does not say that all men are equal. Your values are not their values. If you do not understand this soon enough, you will become the victims of the enemy you have welcomed in your home.

Archbishop Amel Nona Chaldean Catholic Archeparch of Mosul, now exiled in Erbil

Good points.

The First Amendment doesn’t so much confer freedom on all religious expression as it does restrict the then new federal government from establishing or restricting religious freedom.

Because of the supremacy clause, this restriction on federal government is also placed on state governments.

But certain ‘religions’ can be restricted by judicial action when the impact of such outlaw religions cross the line of law.

‘So, are ALL 1.6 billion Muslims (mostly non-Arabs) evil because of their faith?’

Do you believe, therefore, that ALL 1.6 billion Muslims must die?

Islam is evil. If they support it THEY are evil. Where your ‘therefore comes from I don’t know but Islam WILL come after you and I so, yeah, THOSE must die or we will. Fight them now fight them later fight them you will. Evil is an implacable force.

I believe that death is not what is possible but conversion to Christianity. Remember, most are FORCED to believe in Islam. Many thousands are having visions each day of Jesus and secretly converting. The Bible tells us in 11Chronicles 7:14 what we are to do!!! Will we sit back in luxury and be against God’s will or will we also convert?

Dear cloudmountain,

“The CRUSADES tried to stop religion/Islam with the ‘sword.’ It didn't work, did it?”

Actually, against a militarily-superior enemy, the Crusades ultimately DID stop Islam. Vienna did not fall. France did not fall. And in Spain, Islamic Death was rolled back and eliminated from the Iberian peninsula.

Remember that the Crusades were a defensive war against the murderers of Mohammed, who was the prophet of Satan. Was our victory against the moral atrocities that comprise Islam complete? No. But were the Crusades able to secure some semblance of long-term security for Europe against Satan's minions, the moslems? Yes.

Islam must be destroyed.

What a tragic cry.

What a powerfully true warning and wake up call for the non-muslim world. Sadly, denial still overcomes reality. Didn’t the Pope meet with Mullahs recently and/or make complimentary statements about Islam. Now, he wants them bombed in Iraq. Does he really understand the big, long-term picture?

“The CRUSADES tried to stop religion/Islam with the ‘sword.’ It didn't work, did it?”
    It failed for two reasons:
  1. The Crusaders hated and murdered the Jews, not to mention the Orthodox. They were doomed to fail because they were evil.
  2. Those that thought to settle in the land of Israel did not make enough babies to build kingdoms they could hold.

I do not think the Founders of our United States had a clue as to how dangerous this religion is and can be inside our borders.

Jefferson may have had some clue, but only after becoming President and having to deal with the Barbary Pirates.

You don’t like Christian graphics?

Or you just don’t like conservative FReepers with colorful profile pages?

Through martyrs the church grows. along the way Iraq will have a booming population of Catholics.

History has shown this to be true — look at some of the revolutions in Europe against Catholics and then how the Catholic Church grew afterward.

Prayers for this Archbishop.

The Founding Fathers, having come from Western Europe, that had been at war with the Islamic empire for over a millennia, understood the danger of Islam. They just probably had no idea that their descendent would be so stupid, and careless, to invite, or to willingly allow, this plague into our shores.

------------------------------

John Quincy Adams:

"In the seventh century of the Christian era, a wandering Arab of the lineage of Hagar, the Egyptian, combining the powers of transcendent genius, with the preternatural energy of a fanatic, and the fraudulent spirit of an impostor, proclaimed himself as a messenger from Heaven, and spread desolation and delusion over an extensive portion of the earth. Adopting from the sublime conception of the Mosaic law, the doctrine of one omnipotent God; he connected indissolubly with it, the audacious falsehood, that he was himself his prophet and apostle. Adopting from the new Revelation of Jesus, the faith and hope of immortal life, and of future retribution, he humbled it to the dust, by adapting all the rewards and sanctions of his religion to the gratification of the sexual passion. He poisoned the sources of human felicity at the fountain, by degrading the condition of the female sex, and the allowance of polygamy; and he declared undistinguishing and exterminating war, as a part of his religion, against all the rest of mankind. THE ESSENCE OF HIS DOCTRINE WAS VIOLENCE AND LUST: TO EXALT THE BRUTAL OVER THE SPIRITUAL PART OF HUMAN NATURE.

Between these two religions, thus contrasted in their characters, a war of twelve hundred years has already raged. That war is yet flagrant; nor can it cease but by the extinction of that imposture, which has been permitted by Providence to prolong the degeneracy of man. While the merciless and dissolute dogmas of the false prophet shall furnish motives to human action, there can never be peace upon earth, and good will towards men. The hand of Ishmael will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him. It is, indeed, amongst the mysterious dealings of God, that this delusion should have been suffered for so many ages, and during so many generations of human kind, to prevail over the doctrines of the meek and peaceful and benevolent Jesus."

Would you have us do it the Muslim way? KILL them if they don't convert? That CAN'T be your brand of Christianity.

Should they be allowed to kill you if you don't convert?

Should Pope Pius V have surrendered without a fight?

___________________________

"...At dawn, on October 7, 1571, as recorded in the Vatican Archives, Pope Pius V, accompanied by a group of the faithful, entered the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore to pray the Rosary and ask Our Lady to intercede for a Catholic victory. The prayers continued in Rome as the Catholic and Moslem fleets battled far away in the Gulf of Lepanto. Later in the day, the Pope is said to have suddenly interrupted his business with some Cardinals, and looking up, cried out, "A truce to business! Our great task at present is to thank God for the victory which He has just given the Catholic army." The Pope, of course, had no way of knowing that the battle was taking place and being decided on that very day...."

The crusades didn’t work for a lot of reasons. None of which had to do with trying to eliminate Islam.
