Why Can't Gay Activists Tolerate People Who Are No Longer Practicing Homosexuals?
The Christian Post ^ | 8/12/14 | Matt Moore

Over the last few days I've written a couple of columns such as, Parents of Gay Kids, Stop Beating Yourself Up, It's Not Your Fault and Why I Hate The Word Gay, But Still Use It.

I'm not surprised that there are a lot of people out there that have incredibly different views than the ones I express in my columns…. because I used to have incredibly different views than ones I express in these columns. Five years ago I scoffed at the (then to me) laughably ludicrous idea of homosexual behavior being sinful. But now my views have changed. My perceptions of sexuality, ultimate authority (it belongs to God, not me) and reality have changed.

I woke up this morning to some tweets bashing me and my beliefs… again. According to some of the gay bloggers and editors of other gay publishing outlets I'm an "Anti-gay-but-still-gay, self hating, internalizing homophobe that listens to QUEEN."

The "left".. the "gays".. the "liberals"… whatever you want to call them… claim that tolerance and respect are the key to a flourishing society, but why can't they tolerate me? Why can't they tolerate my views?

Cause they’ve done it so often they no longer need the practice?

Can a homosexual ever really be trusted, even if he claims he's changed?

Would it ever be safe for a normal woman to marry him?

I don't think so.

Your comment suggests repentance of sin is meaningless.

If this is what you meant to say, it’s a lie.

Well, I just assume that if a guy has been a homo in the past, it’s because he has perverted desires to have sex with other men. And, if a guy has perverted desires to have sex with other men, a normal woman shouldn’t believe that his perverted desires have somehow magically evaporated or that he will never act in accordance with his perverted desires. A normal woman shouldn’t trust him.

Can a homosexual porn-consumer ever really be trusted, even if he claims he's changed?

Can a homosexual fornicator ever really be trusted, even if he claims he's changed?

Can a homosexual promiscuous man ever really be trusted, even if he claims he's changed?

Can a homosexual masturbator ever really be trusted, even if he claims he's changed?

Would it ever be safe for a normal woman to marry him?

There. Now let's talk about the possibility of repentance and a changed life --- through Jesus Christ Our Lord --- for any sinner.

Who are these perfect people, with no prior sin, that can be trusted?

I believe in repentance. We can forgive, but we should never forget. Maybe after fifty years of good behavior, we can trust such people again.

Maybe.

I would be careful about claiming to be sinless.

you obviously don’t understand the liberal interpretation of “tolerate”....it means agree with me or you’re wrong.
